Constant Evolution Escape Rooms — Attraction in Cottonwood

Here’s what we liked: -staff was friendly and attentive -there are a variety of puzzles to solve - mechanical, numerical, ordering, etc (some rooms only focus on one type so group members can’t always contribute) -this is a unique local business which offers a nice entertainment option in a relatively small town

Here are some things that could have been better: -room was very small, almost claustrophobic. Not sure how a larger group would have had room to move. -props are well-loved, which unfortunately made them harder to read/use. Laminates have obviously been dry-erased and/or rolled or folded many times. Some props didn’t function properly, which required staff intervention. Might be time for a prop refresh. Dim lighting and small print also makes some clues tough to read if you’re older or have poor eyesight. -puzzles are non-linear (one clue isn’t related to the next). This is not a problem, just something to be aware of - some escapes use clues to help direct the group through a challenge; others simply require participants to solve random puzzles. This is the latter.

My wife and I flew in from out of town to explore Arizona. We try to find Escape Rooms wherever we travel, and Constant Evolution Escape Rooms did NOT disappoint! We had a great time with "Dead End" (which we didn't pass 😭).... the owner was great and served as the game master. We stayed after and talked for about another hour as he gave us a list of points of interest along the way to Grand Canyon South Rim. We HIGHLY recommend Bearizona! That was a fantastic gem.

We enjoyed ourselves so much, that we came back to Constant Evolution Escape Rooms the next night to conquer "Collectors"! Wow 👏 if you grew up in the '80s, you're gonna LOVE this room!
