First few times were great, last time we went my wife went ahead of me while I was applying to jobs and when I got there she had some horror stories.
Two women came from the neighborhood up the street with a dirty child wearing rags. They tried to distract my wife from the kids and when my wife didn’t respond they passed the kid they had off to someone that came up from the street side of the park.
I thought nothing of this at first, just assumed that maybe it was the father and he was picking his kids up due to split custody.
But then I noticed a white van that looked straight up out of a horror movie. My wife didn’t notice it at all and it made me heighten my guard.

While the playground equipment is a bit outdated, with faded colors and some rust, especially on the swings, it still feels perfect in its own way. Despite the addition of the senior center, which took up about half of the park’s open green field, it’s nice to have and adds to the sense of community. Read moreIs a small park given that a new Senior community center was built on some of the land.. it was bigger before that and it had a splash pad for kiddos to soak up on hotter days. But it was taken out don't why they didn't bring it back. On the other hand center has restrooms open during bussnies hours.. overall a great little park to spend some time with the family and bbq.. play ground is big enough for some children and good shades given the number of trees if you arrive...
