They're super helpful when you buy $1500 worth of RC cars. But if you have issues with their garbage "common sense batteries" all of a sudden they're hands off. They wasted an hour of my time. I won't be going back here. I may even start selling RC stuff out of my own shop. Their drone selection is non existent.
Update: You failed to address the fact that you just left me waiting and waiting and waiting. How long was it after I left that you finally came to a conclusion on those batteries? 2 hours, 3 hours? That's unacceptable. You could have offered to call me once you had an update. But you just let me sit there. Is that how you frequently treat your customers? As a fellow business owner I know that you can't sell anything and wash your hands of it after it leaves the store. Your reputation depends on the quality of that product. You are the place that sells it. You're obligated to stand behind it. It comes back to you whether you do or not. Bottom line, those garbage batteries aren't worth $20, or even $1. They puffed up after 1 charge. Before I ever ran the truck. They were charged 3 times total. And yes, your 6' drone case is pathetic. I'll come back and list all the local shops that stock more and better drones and accessories. Further, the batteries weren't "puffed up a bit". They were round. They also sat (not in the truck) for a good 3 weeks before I could bring them to you which contributed to the voltage drop some I'm sure. I'm more pissed off that you wasted my time more than anything else. That, you didn't address or seem to care about. You also flat out lied about the voltage of the batteries. One was below 3v but the other was at 3.15 or 3.2 as you noted yourself right in front of me. The batteries certainly were not checked prior to selling them to me. Read moreThis store has the worst customer service after care I have ever experienced in my life. My son bought a plan and the prop shaft broke off the moment we turned it on. We did not even get to fly it. So we tried to return it and we were called liars and told no way that could happen. They tried to box us in with some big guy and made my wife uncomfortable. Then the guy in the hat started calling my son a liar and that was the end. I used to love this shop I will never step foot in this store again. They tried to sell me the part. They told me it’s not amazon. And as you can see the pictures, no damage on the plane anywhere. PART 2No where did we get offered a solution to being sold a faulty product. They tried to sell us more product to fix the already purchased faulty product. The customer that the store talks about said he has crashed his plan multiple time and never broke, so to my point as you can see in the pictures the shaft is strait and cleanly broke not mangled like it was crashed and the plane as in pictures is in perfect condition not crashed at all. I went out of my way from Tacoma area to check this place out and when I arrived there at first everyone was quite helpful and in the end the last person I spoke with was very informative. The track I looked at was nice and we'll maintained. The issue I have and the reason for the 2 stars; I informed the man behind the counter that I was new to this hobby and thoroughly enjoy it but have little knowledge of it and was wondering what I could replace on my Slash to prevent breakdown and stay on top of it, he explained a few parts that I was unfamiliar with so I offered to go grab my Slash and he could point the parts out to me. When I left the store my wife stayed behind and informed me that they watched me walk to my pickup and assumed from what I had that I had decent money to spend. They then talked about the fact that I was new and they could probably get me to by alot of expensive things that I did not need. I learned of this and am deciding that I am not going to go back to this store.
