Orange Avenue Pool — Attraction in Cranford

Come here almost everyday. We have family passes and pay when we bring friends to swim with. Today I was terribly disappointed in the staff and organization. The kids Grandpa is here for a day from Texas. I gently asked if he really needs to pay for us being here 2 hours and he is not even swimming. The person who seems to be the manager would rather ignore me and kept on reading and the girl in the front is new. So he simply said but he is still using the facility. What walking on the cement? Wow guys thanks for nothing. And btw there is a massive hole in the kids side of the pool and someone could get seriously hurt there. Plus I asked if they could open the diving board and the reply was not enough people. But half the staff is sitting at the entrance. So please half what I pay then???...

Five years ago, this pool was the best it ever was. Everything was amazing, they had chairs, tables etc. Lately, this pool is starting to feel more neglected by the day. They have no chairs, no tables, nothing. It feels like you can be the first person in line and have to fight for a chair. The chairs that are here are always broken and members are expected to pay $700 plus for a membership. I do not recommend this pool to anyone if you are considering it and will not be renewing my membership. I have spoken to other members who have raised concerns to the pool and they are told that no more chairs are brought here because there's no way to transport them; well they took them out of here in the first place so surely they can be...

They had to “close” the pool because of thunderstorms so they kicked me out and left me standing out side while it was raining and thundering outside. There was also other kids standing with me outside. They couldn’t have just kept us inside under the shelter. The worst part was that they were opening back up in 30 minutes, so there was no need to close the entire pool itself. My family was thinking about maybe suing the pool for this but we let it slide.
