Goodwill Store — Attraction in Crawfordsville

Saw a skirt I liked in the Crawfordsville Indiana store, but it was stained. I thought maybe I could salvage it or at least dye it, so I asked the two girls at the checkout if they'd come down on the price. I can't believe it-- she said they'd probably just throw it away instead 🤣 OKAY -- these are USED clothes that you're already asking ridiculous prices for, and before you'll sell damaged goods at a discount you'd prefer to throw it away? And if that's the case, why did a stained skirt end up on the sale floor anyway? Why wasn't it "thrown away" to begin with? I just put everything else I was going to buy back on the racks and left the store. Outrageous prices, ridiculous sale practices, and absolutely no discounts on ANYTHING. Thank God there are still rummage sales and other thrift stores...

Will never go there again. I checked out at the closing of the day, with zero knowledge they used a separate rewards system than the one I have for greencastle. I asked her if I could fill out for a card, she said she would not input the info because she didn't have time, I asked if she could give me the discount as a courtesy and she flat out refused. Then, When I got home I realized one of my bags didnt make it out of the store, I promptly called the next day, and they said there were no bags, and that if I wanted to bring my receipt back, I could try to find items in exchange but would have to pay the difference..... Never will I give my business to that location...

THE CRAWFORDSVILLE GOODWILL STORE IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE GOODWILL I’VE EVER VISITED IN MY LIFE. Well worn women’s Crocs = $10. Beat up men’s Under Armour t shirt = $10. (Brand New at TJ Maxx for $8.99). Dirty Infant size Nikes = $15. ($20 dollars New) Seriously, so much for giving back to the community. WOW! The most price gouging Goodwill I’ve ever visited.
