SEPHORA — Attraction in Crestview Hills

I have gone to this Sephora 100’s of times but over the last 6 months or so, it has gone down in quality so severely that it is no longer shoppable. We went this weekend and every single product we wanted was out of stock. Many of the sample products were empty or missing, so you couldn’t try most products. Perfume bottles were empty (and weirdly tied down) and around 75% of the customers were children, most without an adult to supervise. I had been in the week prior, and thought maybe I had just come on a bad day but unfortunately a week later and it was worse. No stock, empty samplers, kids everywhere. This is not why we shop Sephora over Ulta, you go to get a luxurious feeling experience with expert staff and high quality products readily available to try and purchase. The store itself is a pretty standard Sephora location. What triggered my 5-star review is the manager at this location. I believe her name is Laura (young woman with black hair). I came in absolutely clueless about makeup but knew I had to get my wife a gift and knew Sephora was her favorite store. Laura took so much time and attention to my questions and helped me pick out the ideal kit for my wife! She even used pictures of her to determine what makeup would work best with her skin tone (we're African American). My wife had never been happier with a purchase I've made and we will exclusively be shopping at this store and exclusively working with Laura from here on out! Thanks again, Laura!...

It was One Of Those Days, and I was finally doing it. I deserved an upgrade from the Maybelline Great Lash and I needed the lift NOW. Just opening the door I felt welcome, and then I WAS welcomed. I knew exactly what I was there for (my new love, thanks to my July ipsy bag, Roller Lash by Benefit) and found it with ease, then proceeded to the check-out counter. There, the warm smile and pleasant demeanor of Miss Joyce topped it all off. She signed me up for rewards, and the extra little gift for it being my birthday month (by just 2 days!) was the icing on the cake. I was a first time Sephora shopper. Now I am a BELIEVER.
