Wonderful day at the movies today. Got there for a 4:30 showing & received a discounted ticket price. Lines to get in were not long, concessions were busy and required a bit of a wait. Bathrooms inside lobby area needed attention (which is why only 4 stars vs 5) badly. Lobby itself was clean. Concession workers were all polite & helpful. Movie theaters themselves were extremely clean. Comfortable seating including designated handicap seating available for those with wheelchairs, etc. Parking lot is large, handicap spots clearly marked & the lot is well lit at dark. Nice range of movies to please all age ranges - from the littles to adults - something was sure to please everyone. Convenient location just 1 block off Hwy 127, and close to I-40. Great movie theater for Crossville! & TOP GUN - Maverick did not dissapoint!! This movie theater is a great place to take your whole family, or a nice place for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOf course it's expensive for the experience, and the snacks are pricey as expected for a theater. Some of the staff is friendly. But not all of them. A couple managers or supervisors there seem a little stuck up, but just my opinion. One time I had accidentally left my phone in the theaters and just walked out the door. Realized it the second it closed behind me. There was a person sitting in the office at the top of the ramp as I was knocking. They completely ignored me. Then when the next movie got out someone let me in as I explained my phone was inside. That person in the office just closed the door. Really ticked me off, but whatcha gonna do. Not the first odd management experience there. The deal with the unlimited refills on popcorn and drink is nice and worth it. I heard the pizza is good but I haven't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDrove from Cookeville today to see Nightmare Alley, since the only other theater showing it is in Nashville. Staff seemed welcoming and friendly...at first. As I was waiting in line to get my ticket checked, a "manager" stormed over and told me that I couldn't take my drink into the theater. When I worked at a theatre, the policy was you weren't allowed to say that if we didn't sell it. I'm sorry, so movie theaters sell sweet tea now? (Probably seems petty to anyone reading this review lol.) But, I agree with most of the other negative reviews. The outdated seating grows uncomfortable after awhile; only two previews played before the movie began, so don't be late! Sorely disappointed and will not be back unless I absolutely have no other options. I wish I would have drove to...
