Amazing park!! My son is 5 and in a wheelchair. Awesome that this park has so many swings and other equipment for him to experience.
We were there on a very busy day which was fun to see all the kids. But the teenagers were extremely rude and disrespectful. We stood and waited for the adaptive swings that were being used by these teenagers for over 15 minutes. They ignored my son who was waiting as patiently as possibly to use the swing while the non-adaptive swings right next to them were open. All while yelling and loudly swearing. Read moreThe park has several table benches and even separate pavilions for use. Charcoal grills are also available to use. I do not know what the permit requirements are for the pavilions but I believe most grills are usually just available on a first come first serve basis. The playground is wonderful with many great pieces of equipment. They have full service indoor restrooms. I love this park. I almost forgot, they also have a splash pad during the summer months. Read moreLOVE this park! Massive playground suitable for all ages. My 2 and 4 year olds love it but there are tons of bigger slides and ropes and ladders for bigger kids as well. The playground has a padded ground under it instead of wood chips/similar which is a really nice substitute. Big shaded picnic area, zipline swing, plus a big splash pad. The splash pad is awesome! It does get crowded in the afternoons and weekends so if you don't want the crowds, plan on visiting earlier in the day.
