I was aggressively approached in the Crystal store after 14 years of a pleasant shopping experience every Valentine's Day. If you attempt to make eye contact with the employee when walking in, and you are ignored, it is extremely jarring to be approached by a person who thwarts a chest over and over again at you as if you shoplifted only to ask for an ID. That the person could have used your entry as an opportunity to request at that point or to at least acknowledge your presence with a somewhat friendly greeting or head nod. Nope, wait until I try to disappear with headphones and put my head down in an uncomfortable environment with older lurking men, and then try to act like a big bad security guard with an authoritarian frown while you thwart your body towards a woman over an over again why she shakes so badly she can barely open her wallet, still believing that she is being accused of a crime. I never had an attitude in your stores, but I did when I thought that I was being accused of something nefarious. I have been doing this out of tradition, so I drove to the Fridley store I was so shaken. I loved the former employees, and they were always extremely welcoming and friendly, but if the company has changed the type of employees they hire, then I will go elsewhere. I just wanted to get a cute slightly naughty card and maybe a romantic game, but I had to go through this? I thought this company claimed in their commercials that they thrived on making women feel comfortable with visiting there stores but maybe that has changed. It was much more professional in Fridley, but I didn't feel welcomed like I did by the former employees. I get that we don't want to force people to smile, but the employees in both stores looks like miserable mannequins incapable of any friendliness. At least the Fridley employee's voice didn't sound like that of a drill sergeant. I went back and looked at the past reviews. It appears they've had a bad experience with attrition, according to the owner. So, I checked the emplpyee reviews. It appears they have bullied their good employees away, and that is the reason they have to settle for their current subpar employees. It was just a cute tradition, but I think that tradition ends now. I don't ever want to experience fear when I want to do something cute for my husband on a...
Read moreI went to Fantacy Gifts in Crystal and purchased an item that wasn't operable once I got home. I brought the item back, explained to the woman at the counter that the item didn't work and I needed to be either refunded or, the item exchanged as stores do when customers have issues.. I was told by this person that I couldn't get an exchange or a refund because it's against the law to return/exchange these type of products. I told her that when I purchased the product I was not told by the women who rang me up the day I purchased it. Woman #2 then said she should have told me that and that woman #1 probably forgot because she was new. I then said, so you're telling me that I'm stuck with this faulty product and lost my money? She then said that woman #1 should have tested it before I left the store. I later pulled up on Google if there's a law about these type of products where no refund or exchange can be given back if products are faulty. What I pulled up stated that there's no laws but, the stores policy. I'm very very irritated about this situation because as a courtesy that clerk should have honored me for giving them my business and refunded me or exchanged the product and they're throwing it away anyway. Like I got money to throw away. I've been there before and nobody's ever ask me to make sure a product worked before I left the store. I didn't have an issue with products in the past. This experience has made it bad for all Fantacy Gifts stores. Fantacy Gifts won't get my business...
Read moreFor a small shop they have a fairly nice selection of outfits, bras and panties, and even "dress up" apparel. The toys range from tiny bullets, that are battery or rechargeable powered, all the way up to silicon "lower halves (both male and female)". The customer service, in store, is one on one and extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the products sold. If you want to actually put your hands on any of the non-lubricated items they will open the item and let you test it, in hand only. I recommend this store as a great place to find "adult toys and sexual...
