Cosmetique Aesthetics and Surgical Center — Attraction in Culver City

During my inquiry message to Cosmetique, i shared that I wanted less than a syringe on my lips and to use the rest elsewhere on my face, and they confirmed they’d do this for me. Before we got started I brought it up to the doctor, and he confirmed we could do this as well. After he started injecting my lips he told me he used 1/4 of the syringe in the upper quartile, and said that he will use the rest of it on my lips and not my face. I couldn’t say or do much at this point, the damage was done. In order to even out the lips he’d have to use the full syringe.

Unfortunately the 1 syringe of lip filler turned out lumpier than it has in the past when i’ve gone to other providers. There wasn’t really a formal consultation, but before we started I explained I wanted the filler concentrated towards the middle of my lips and also around the edges to crisp up my lip outline. I showed a reference photo of how it looked last time I got it done (somewhere else). Now, after over 2 weeks of healing, I can see that most of the filler is concentrated towards the top of my bottom lip and the bottom of my top lip, if that makes sense. Opposite of what I asked for.

Both the Dr. and receptionist are kind people, but I can’t help but feel like I wasn’t listened to. I left with more filler than I was hoping for and lumpy lips. In the photo i attached i’m wearing lipstick which helps cover the lumps a bit, but they’re clearly there. Not the natural look I was hoping for ): Seems like the reviews here are overwhelmingly positive, so my experience might be an anomaly. Still wanted to share.
