Definitely the worst hotel in LA! The service is the worst of the worst! The fellow immediately asked to cancel on my reservation when I said I didn't bring the same credit card I used for the booking. I have other cards under my very same name, though.
I WISH I just went somewhere else immediately!!!!
But then I asked him if I can see the room, he said no, that should already raise a big red flag!
I didn't want to go anywhere else because otherwise I would have to Uber to somewhere else. This guys canceled on me but said I can make a new booking using the other credit card.
I did it and found out he put me to the ground floor close to the road!!! Wooooooooooow, impressively hurtful!!!
I asked him if I can cancel the room, he immediately said no!!!
I went to the room and found the room was actually BAD! Noisy, dingy, OLD and unclean!
I thought that it doesn't have a window but it did HAVE! But on the outside!!! Who would ever open the window when my privacy is fully made public!!!!!!
I just want to stay in the hotel the least amount of time and I am glad I will only stay here for 2 nights, terrible,...
Read moreThis was literally the worst hotel stay I've ever had. Upon check-in, the hotel demanded a $50 cash deposit against room damage. The hotel listing said nothing about a deposit; no written proof of receipt was offered. I seriously hate it when a business imposes some unforseen demand simply because they know that you're caught in that moment and have no other choice.
The A/C was filled with mold or something that gave me a terrible allergic reaction. I had to use Afrin nasal spray just to breathe, and my allergies aren't normally that bad to begin with.
The room I was given was at the end of a hall and had only a window facing the hall, so there was literally no natural light at all. See the photo, which was taken at 11:30 AM. I had to use the lights in the middle of the day. Everything is worn out.
Immediately after simply walking into the room, I requested a change. Despite Orbitz telling me rooms were available, I was told that they were full and couldn't do anything. I've stayed in dive hotels in China that were better than this...
Read moreThis motel is now called Galaxy Inn. The walls were so thin, we heard our neighbors TV and conversations loud and clear. Unfortunately, our neighbors were late TV watchers (past 10 pm) and early risers (before 6 am). We had to bang on the walls to tell them to be quite. The room lacked face and hand towels, and Kleenex. We asked management for towels and they said they didn't have any hand towels and gave us two face towels that literally were rags. The pipes reeked of methane gas that filled the entire room when we first ran water down the drain. There were not enough parking for the guests, so management directed us to park behind the motel in a dark back alley. The alley was so narrow that you could get out of your vehicle on one side. No one was attending the tiny registration cubicle that was the size of a toll booth. I rang the bell and waited for an attendant for a few minutes before I gave up and left the key behind the glass window. The key did not work well at all. I definitely do not recommend this...
