Best CrackSpot in Culver City!
When you're looking to score some rock, look no futher than the third floor of the Ramada. There are guys posted up on the patio all day and all night long to hook you up. They're loud and talk a big game, but they're really just blazin' and and have plenty of dank grass to share with their friends. Sometimes things get really turnt up and people start fighting, but don't worry, the front desk guy won't call the popo. He leaves at 2 am and won't mess with you.
If something goes down, they've got the best cleaning crew around. The walls are scuffed and the floors and blankets may get burnt, but the beds are straight up fresh- no bedbugs anywhere! The showers are also sparkling. Say goodbye to those run-down motels, even the parking lot is good, only saw one broken crack pipe and a few cigarette butts down there. It's DOPE.
After partying all night, there's breakfast, and they have it ALL: coffee, tea, pancakes, toast (no butter), fruit loops, oatmeal packets, and packaged danish goodness. They've even got a few oranges and a juice machine for max nutrition. After you get lit, you can head to Carl's Jr. with your friends or yell obscenities at cars in the parking lot.
Worth the $180 a night. Will be back!!!!
Please note: this is a true review told from the satirical, fictionalized viewpoint of someone purchasing drugs from this run-down hotel. To this individual, the hotel would seem nice. I am not sure if they were selling crack (I chose crack because of the crack pipe in the parking lot), but they were definitely dealing in something illicit right outside my door, not being covert about it in any way, and no one cared. In fact, the front desk person dismissed us and said sometimes people talk outside and if we didn't like the noise, he would move us if we upgraded our room for another $140 a night (it wasn't just talking, there were deals, fights and ragers going down every night).
I recommend moving people to other rooms for no charge and getting more security at this location, as many people have complained about the same issues. if for some reason you find yourself here, ask to stay towards the front...
Read moreThe room was clean and that is all the positive I can say about it. Freshly remodeled but with already broken pieces and done with some strange and counter intuitive idea. Restroom was nice but floor in the shower very slippery and with no place for towels. Good, firm mattress but one of the bedside cabinets appeared to be mini fridge. It was off so no way to keep anything cool. When I managed to turn it on it appeared to be noisy like hell (probably the reason why it was off). Very small TV with very basic channel selection and very poor image quality. WIFI is there but the speed is so miserable that to open any Web page it takes at least half a minute not to mention trying to see any movie or multimedia. When checking in the receptionist told me about continental breakfast but it felt like she wasn't proud to say that. In the more it was clear, continental breakfast can be basic but this was a joke. The only warm things were bagels and coffee. Other than that few more things to choose from and you can warm them up in microwave. And even that is assuming you are lucky to find them. It seems they put things out once and never refill anything. When I came there was 3 pieces of bagged pastries, 5 minutes later there was one left. In about 30 minutes I sat they refilled coffee twice (quite a few people around) and never a single piece of any food was added. People were scratching their heads about what to eat.
If you want a bed it's fine. If you expect anything more than that go anywhere else, plenty of places to choose...
Read moreVery disappointed. we booked 10 days, will say the location was very good, walkable to several restaurants, and walked to downtown Culver City , almost 2 miles away. Due to Covid ,no breakfast , which we knew ,however front desk said a "Grab n Go " bag was going to be provided in 5 days.Never came " didn't get the Costco delivery". No hairdryer, "due to Covid, only provided upon request" took 3 hairdryers. the first one got so hot ,no adjustment ,had sparks coming out and set off the smoke alarm,2nd one smoking as soon as it was turned on. Finally the 3 rd one , a newer model , " we bought new ones". no hangars, no "Do Not Disturb" door hanger. had to ask for those also. consistently had to ask for 2 hand towels and face towels. I told them , there are 2 of us staying . the carpet needs to be replaced , at least cleaned . a Large sticky spot and red spots, along with bleached out spots. I was wondering what would happen if there was a rain storm, because of the gap underneath and around the door would've let in a lot of rain , guess there are no worries for critters getting in. the elevator was out of service one night and surprisingly fixed early the next morning. we were on 3rd floor , fortunately not disabled, though recovering from knee surgery . The pluses: staff acted immediately on our needs, though they should've tried the first 2 hairdryers before giving them out. always ice in the ice machine. quiet ac/heating unit, and as I said in the beginning,...
