Empowered Yoga Studio — Attraction in Culver City

Love this yoga studio and their warm & kind community. All the teachers are amazing -- Rachel, Chris, Jonelle, Liz, Mel, Kiley and Elyse really hold space for a wonderful practice. They make subtle adjustments to really heighten your practice and remind you to listen to your own body's wisdom which is crucial in empowering yourself in your practice. It's been a little over 2mos since joining -- 5yrs hiatus from yoga due to an injury which was a result of poor instruction. It's been a joy to take classes here - feeling and seeing results plus there is a bonus of pups that occasionally make an appearance. I've tried a lot of yoga studios in Venice and SM area. But couldn't find the place where I can commit my time not only for yoga practice but also good community. And I found Empowered yoga a few month ago and since then I've been sticking to it. All the teachers are super knowledgeable, professional and more than amazing. All the classes are thoughtfully structured with variations. Also there are events that can open deeper understanding about yoga and other well being, meditation and spirituality. I can’t say enough about the beautiful community that Rachel & Chris have created at Empowered Yoga. The physical space is bright and inviting but more importantly, there is an unmatched warmth and tender magic that can’t be captured by words. Please do come to experience it!
