milk + honey | Culver City — Attraction in Culver City

My experience at milk + honey spa in Culver City was nothing short of amazing! I wanted to treat myself to a full spa day that had all of the services I wanted, and milk + honey met that criteria. I booked the Ultimate Package with a couple of add-ons. The Ultimate Package included their Ultimate Massage (2 hrs), Ultimate Facial (2 hrs), Ultimate Mani + Pedi, and lunch. I added on Gel Polish to the mani/pedi and an Underarm Wax. For reference, my spa day began at 9am and it was complete by 5:30pm, so it was a TRUE spa DAY.

Upon arrival to the beautiful spa, I was greeted by the front desk staff with such warmth and guided over to their nail space. Milk + honey nail space was pristine, trendy, and so comfortable. My wonderful Nail Technician, Nancy, worked on my mani/pedi with such professionalism and skill that I can't imagine going to any other nail technician at this point. She did complete cuticle care, buffing, clipping, a foot scrub, a leg and foot massage, and something resembling a mask for the feet and lower legs. Nancy really took her time and the care truly shows. I LOVE the end product and I also loved the fun conversation throughout the service with Nancy. During this time as well, I was treated to some delicious snacks and beverage. I was constantly checked upon for anything I needed and it was a great start to my day.

After my nails were complete, I was led to the women's restroom which was complete with lockers and steam showers. The restroom was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. There, I changed into a robe and slippers, and then went out into the lounge to await my next service. The lounge is a lovely environment - quiet, nice music, and a counter of snacks and beverage. Grace, my masseuse, greeted my in the lounge and led me to one of the nice, quiet rooms for my Ultimate Massage. This began with a full body brushing. I had never had this done before, but now I'm going to need this every time! She then proceeded with the full body massage that was the perfect pressure the entire time. Grace then gave one of the best foot scrubs I've ever had and once again, you can just tell the care, skill, and time that is put into the work done here. The Ultimate Massage is truly dynamite.

Next, I headed back out to the lounge, where I was served lunch. The spa provides a selection of items to choose from Sweetgreen. I really liked the fact that there were a variety of options. I enjoyed lunch for about an hour and just rested in the lounge until my facial.

Reanna, the estethician, was also so wonderful and so sweet. The Ultimate Facial included a Back Facial as well, which she started with. What I really loved with Reanna is that she explained everything she was doing and how it helps. She for sure knows everything about skincare. The Back Facial included a nice exfoliation, extraction, cleansing, a masque, oil, and massage. Since I was also getting an Underarm Wax, Reanna also performed this service before beginning the face facial. I have never had anything waxed before so I was nervous. Reanna was super kind about it and talked me through the entire process which made me feel so much better about it. The wax was perfection, my skin feels so smooth and there have been no "after-hurts/pains." With the Ultimate Facial, my skin feels the best it has ever felt. It included everything the Back Facial had and then some. I can't even count all of the treatments she gave my face but it was truly comprehensive and thought out and I felt so refreshed after. I also enjoyed the lovely converstion with Reanna, and I can't wait to go back and try out more facial and waxing services with her. She really educated me a lot on skincare and she's very skilled at what she does.

Overall, my entire day was one I wish I could have everyday. The staff here go above and beyond, the services provided are done so well by very skilled people, and the facilities are immaculate. Milk + honey is true excellence and I'm so happy I now have a spa that I can regularly visit. I recommend everyone try...

Update: Arielle is no longer @ M&H but Lilliana is even better!!! Literally the best mani pedi I’ve ever had in my life (and I’ve had a lot of them). I’m always going to go to her now!

An oasis away from the hustle and bustle. I loved it so much I bought the highest tier membership which comes with discounts and the ability to bring guests. It’s my happy place!! The couples massage is great. We really like Jesus and Genevieve.

They also do mani/pedi with regular nail polish and gel polish. The ultimate for both are the best — there’s a honey mask that feels luxurious and has the most refreshing feeling. Arielle is great for mani/pedi. I personally love the fact that they never push services on anyone and make comfort a priority for everyone. Plenty of polish options, they carry OPI, Dazzle Dry, and SpaRitual.

It’s also super easy to Apple Pay on the way out and or use membership funds. I highly recommend this place if you want a spa day. I would make reservations well ahead of time because they tend to fill up especially if you’re looking for a longer service.

I was skeptical at first because of the waterless mani/pedi (my first time) and a few of the reviews about the quality not being worth the price. I am SO grateful my partner got me a gift certificate here or I might not have found my new favorite salon!

I am pregnant so a safe, clean, chemical-free and relaxing experience is of the utmost importance to me. The entire experience was just that, along with great customer service. I was the only one in the salon during my appointment which was priceless. Jessica was incredible. So knowledgeable, professional, and fun to chat with. She thoroughly explained the benefits of waterless (I.e. sanitary & longevity of mani/pedi) and took so much time and care helping me choice the perfect colors for my nails. Most importantly, it’s been two full weeks and there is still life left in my gel manicure. NEVER have I had a manicure last this long. I will never get a mani/pedi with water again (and to be clear - my feet were in very rough shape, so don’t let the waterless scare you that it can’t get the job done. So not the case).

I am so grateful for this salon, experience, and Jessica. Can’t wait...
