It was a normal afternoon, with a line, but not too bad.
The people were cheerful and helpful, telling us that we can change/edit our drink if we don't like it.
I ordered a medium matcha latte with boba, almond milk, 75% sweet, less ice. Cost: $5, may seem pricy, but the quality was worth the extra dollar.
The matcha flavor was just right, not too bitter or bland. The almond milk gave the drink good creaminess, providing a good combo with the matcha.
75% sweetness was just right for me. They added a little bit of honey plus 2 pumps of REAL brown sugar, not artificial fructose. I could taste the sweetness and the matcha at the same time, producing an AMAZING flavor.
The boba pearls were AWESOME. They were big, chewy, and had a sweet flavor, which is the ideal conditions for my boba pearls. It only costs an additional 50 cents, totally worth getting the boba here.
I am totally happy to come back here for this exact same drink and would recommend this place if you are in the area. Tastes as good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās all in the name - you come to this spot for boba, though they do offer the option of no-boba drinks. Came here with four other friends on a Saturday afternoon and hung out at one of the outdoor tables (there was an outlet underneath the bench seating in case you need to charge your phone). Paid parking is available in the garage or you can try your luck with metered street parking. Public restrooms are available by the Margot entrance. Credit cards accepted. Dogs are allowed.
The line was about 5 groups deep, but it moved fairly quickly. You order/pay first and then they call your name when your drink order is ready. I got a hot matcha latte at 50% sweetness and I think they use honey as a sweetener. Iāve had their iced matcha with boba before too, and they give a generous amount. The boba is super soft and chewy, but it does get a bit cloying after a while, so you could also ask for less boba (itās not cheaper if you do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent here to grab a quick to go orders for myself and my partner and when I first arrived, two of the employees behind the counter were talking to each other, not making the effort to greet or welcome me in.
When it came to me to order next, the cashier was on his phone, not even looking up to see that I had been waiting. I stood there for a little longer to see if he would even take the time to finally greet me and help take my order.
As someone whoās worked customer service for a very long time, itās disappointing to see employees who canāt even meet the basic standards of customer service. I wasnāt expecting them to go above and beyond or anything, just a simple greet or acknowledge wouldāve been fine.
Not to mention the environment was dirty and had boxes everywhere and just seemed unorganized in comparison to other Boba Guys Iāve been to.
All in all, the drinks were great but terrible...
