**UPDATE as of 04/05/2024
It's said that good things don't last forever, in this case it started bad and after another opportunity, at another location... It's just not in their culture to strive for greatness.
So after I had an amazing experience with the staff at the Venice location, all came crumbled when the day of the promised delivery came: OUR TRUCK BROKE DOWN and we will NOT be delivering your items, contact us to schedule a delivery for a future date..!!!! I had it, I contacted their Customer Service and someone in India answered the phone and kept transferring me and denying me the opportunity to speak to a manager. I was finally transferred to an Scalations Manager (sounded like those shady: You got a computer virus call). Needless to say it just got worse. In Resume, I cancel the order and kept getting the run around about my money, so I was forced to contact my Bank and dispute the charges as I Never Received My Product.
I know Managers and Owners don't care about this reviews as they will continue treating people this way due to no consequences to bad actions. Would i recommend this place: TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE... Say:#LIVINGSPACES #MATTRESSWORLD # BOBSDISCOUNT #SEATANDSLEEP.
I HATE THIS PLACE, and WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN HERE AGAIN!!!
Yes, those we're my words in my first experience with Ashley's Furniture. I visited the location on Broadway and Washington and the welcoming was fair, no pressure, but as soon as we chose a bed, the pushing begun. Not only I was being pushed to purchase a mattress that I didn't want, but when I was offered credit, I agreed to it, as there was a 3 month to pay option with no interest. I was guided to apply for the purchase but when I was about to begin filling up the application, the sales rep typed an amount 3 times higher than what I needed. I asked him why he done so and he says: " Ah, it's just a number we write,".. I told him, why you push for higher limits when you are dealing with people's credits??.. He looked dazed and confused. I decided to just pay for the frame, as we're not too convinced about the mattress options. Sales person went to speak to the manager whom I had told earlier to not push a sale on me as I don't appreciated to be hassle. Yet, he began to try to push another mattress and bed, and kept telling me that he was giving me: A Deal that I Could not Refuse, (while quoting the Godfather Movie).. I thought to myself, am I buying from a Mafia?... I told him, are you going to sell me what I want yes or no?... he kept pushing his agenda and never gave me an answer. Mind you that we were not coming for a bed only, but if in my initial encounter I was not being sold what I wanted, I truly hated to know what would happen with future negotiations. I walked away with my wife, dissapointed and giving this Manager, and Store an F+ ... ( Is there a Z+? )
To the Manager on Broadway Store: stop making your team lose sales due to your non-sense. You are not funny!
We decided to visit another Ashley's Store on Venice Blvd. I trully want to go to Living Spaces, or Bob's as they treated me with RESPECT in past dealings, but this Store change my view and perception... Tatiana, and Will were Amazing, and went above an beyond to show us the other face of great quality customer service. We ended up buying our desired items, and more... We will be coming back, not because of Management, as they see numbers only, but because of the staff in this location..!!
Great Job... You've earned a Customer for Life! Thank you for being professional, attentive and...
Read moreMy wife and I made a large purchase after Thanksgiving. We received a call the day before the delivery we are going to get a partial order. We were told that all 4 items would be delivered. Instead 3 were going to be delivered. When I spoke with an agent on the phone regarding this being unacceptable and unprofessional. The agent was not helpful. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she couldn't get a supervisor on the phone to help me. I had to go the store we shopped at to complain. The store manager explained the problem and that 3 pieces would be delivered. The 4th is to be delivered on Friday 12/19. I called the number to store. First the phone number is NOT TO THE STORE IT IS A CALL CENTER BACK EAST. They told me that the last piece is going to be delivered on 12/31. I spoke with a supervisor and she couldn'tsay way I didn't get call. I told her to check this problem and call me back by 9pm. I never received a call stating why they are not delivering the item on the promised date of Friday 12/20 the store manager emailed the shipping company. Now they plan to deliver at 12/31. This is unexplainable . We had the delivery dates because we were not working. The new date we work. I Received an email this morning at 6a pacific time 9a eastern. It started that the piece will be delivered today 12/20 between 8a-12p pacific time. I never got an apology from the supervisor on behalf of the company. The company has great furniture but they need to do a lot of training with customers and up date the phone numbers to stores instead of the call center. You look up the store in Culver City has an area code of 310. The out going message says if you call after 5pm pacific time which the store should be open. The call center states to call Monday-Friday 9a -5p eastern time. After all the complaints that I left we got our final piece on 12/21 at 745am. Ashley has nice furniture but they have to fix the company. I have just found out that the company has merged with a company based in the Philippines. This is the first and last time we are ever going to shopvat Ashley. The employees of the store we purchased from all of them where very helpful and concerned about the way the company was threatening this issue. The company needs to re- train staff. They need to fix the phone situation. And finally get rid of all agents and supervisors that I had to speak with and didn't care. I do not care if they lose their jobs during the holidays . They need to know how to speak with customers and to help them when they have made...
