
I am embarrassed for this “business”. This college wasn’t on anyone’s radar until the incident with that professor. I tried to send a private email but the website is not user friendly. I hope she doesn’t represent the college as a whole. But as she was allowed to “take leave”, I would imagine she does. A. Present something as a fact when it is absolutely not B. Make baseless claims of fact without presenting even allegorical evidence C. Ask a student a question or challenge their belief in the quest for better understanding or even a logical response (hopefully), but then interrupt/override the response from a position of power. Read moreI am an alumnus of Cypress. I received an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies in 2004. At Cypress, I was a member of the Honors Program, and took several honors courses (I was in Special Education in High School!), and I did very well in all my courses, and the instructors did a great job taching th material. Overall, I enjoyed the campus as well as it is clean, well kept and has nice trees and activity facilities. I had consistently great instructors and counselors who helped me prepare to transfer to a university. I was to go to Cal State Fullerton and was accepted with academic distinction but had to move to New Jersey with my family. My curriculum at Cypress allowed me acceptance to Montclair State University and to get a Bachelor's of Arts. I still miss going to Cypress College today; it was such a positive and confidence...
