Highly Recommend!! Don’t hesitate to stay here. We just spent 4 nights here and we WILL be returning. First I’ll say, the couple that is managing are the NICEST people. Very accommodating, always available and willing to help, even offered ice from her home since their ice machine is out of service. We have a service dog and we had zero issues. There was a bit of a ruckus with some other guests early one morning and even that was handled discreetly. As my usual, we had a lot to pack up and had gotten a late start and we were granted the time we needed with a smile and kindness. Housekeepers checked with us each day offering services or anything we needed, but never were we harassed in any manner. My constructive criticism would be regarding the room: the light on the wall by tv was kind of just hanging there, no shade, and only one lamp for the 2 nightstands. Also no chair to sit, just the bed. King size though and comfortable enough for us. Sheets and towels were clean, I found their policy of 2 towels and 2 face cloths per room to be a little underwhelming, but I do understand that is an area that can become expensively out of hand quickly, and we have our own towels with us too so we just used those. Tv supported our Roku, Wi-Fi was sufficient for streaming without any hiccups, and ac was nice and cold. Always felt safe, never worried about our car parked outside. Overall, we call it a home run. Even with a few little areas for improvement, they’ve clearly been chipping away at it all and making solid progress, while maintaining consistency. If you find an open room, book it!! You...
Read moreMy review is mostly about how my deposit was being held hostage until I was forced to leave a " good" review. I stayed there and it was per usual, you get what you pay for. The first person I saw was a tweeker hanging out side his room. Then someone all night all day every time they went in or out kept slamming the door to the extreme! Boom! Boom! Boom! Managership did nothing. Next in the night drug addicts outside all night long yapping and fighting, around 3 am I hear female voices fighting calling each other bad words. I was scared. I didn't want to even poke my head out. The kicker is I wasn't going to leave a review until the manager, basically blacked mailed ( extortion )me I to leaving a review. After I called to find out why I didn't get my deposit because I left the room in mint condition and returned the key and remote I called and asked why he took my deposit, he said " did you like your stay" I didn't want to tell him because I wanted my deposit back, so basically he told me ( these are his words) of you leave me a good review I will refund your deposit. Om?! Wt?!!!!! The room was ok. The bathroom was disgusting, it looked like something died in the bathtub, the drug addicts are on another lever of scary. No, sir, I did not like my room nor my stay. I was horrified the whole time! I was so scared I wanted to leave that experience behind me, thank you for...
Read moreWhile waiting for permanent residence we needed to find temporary lodging that was affordable, safe and clean. The Royal Inn has undergone renovation and management made privacy and safety there priority with new doors and plantation shutters in each room. Housekeeping attends to your room daily (or as requested) stopping by to make sure you have towels and linens. There is ample parking and local shopping is at your fingertips. Everything you would need is within one block! If you’re staying over a weekend you are literally a hop skip and jump away from the cypress swap meet located at the college. The couple who manages the property are very kind and understanding. If you need something they will go out of their way to accommodate. The king size bed is very comfortable and the room is cooled with new air conditioning. I don’t think you can find a better deal especially for the price. They have made it simple and constant. Therefore, if they have availability I would suggest Royal Inn as...
