Frostbites Crepes & Frozen Delights — Restaurant in Cypress

Frostbites is a small chain which sells various flavors of italian ice along with chocolate or vanilla ice cream, and whom also sells crepes with various combinations of fillings. I first came across the Frostbites on 9111 Valley View St., Suite 103 Cypress, CA 90630 because of my friends who encouraged me to go there with them to try their “amazing italian ice”, even though I went during the winter time I completely fell in love with not only the taste of their products but also their customer service and convenient location.

The taste of their products not only drew me in but also all their endless combinations that can be created with their sorbet creams and sorbet chills. The sorbet creams are served with the smoothest italian ice cream in either choice of chocolate or vanilla, which adds the right amount of creaminess to their italian ice without taking too much away from the italian ice, also there could be as many flavors added to the sorbet cream and sorbet chill as wanted. They have many flavors which complement each other very well, suitable for every individual with different taste preference. For example the workers give certain suggestions such as the chocolate ice cream with strawberry italian ice which tastes like a chocolate covered strawberry. Which brings me to my next point about their excellent customer service.

Not only as soon as you walk through the door do these employees greet you with a smile on their face, but they actually seem happy to be serving you. Aside from informing their customers about their products, they also provide samples of some of their most popular flavors which gives you an idea of how the flavors could be pared, and they also take their time to ask what kind of flavors the customer is into in order to provide a custom sample due to taste preference. Even if the customer has been a customer there before they still offer to sample new combinations or flavors to the customer without any complaint, they never neglect you the opportunity of trying their products.

I am also a fan of their location, because it is very conveniently located. They are located right next to a pizza place with can provide the meal and Frostbites could provide the dessert. Aside from that, they are located next to a coffee/ tea shop which helps provide a variation incase someone would like icecream but other people want a different treat. Also they are located right across from Cypress Community College which I see as a plus because this location is within a walking radius of the campus for students.

I have never been completely upset with this particular Frostbites because of their excellent customer service, except for one time when the crepe I had ordered was a bit overdone to the point where it was crunchy rather than soft, I just don't like that the employee did not know better to make a new one than to just give it to the customer they way it was given to me. I know this employee was a new a employee which is why I did not make a big deal of the situation because I was understanding that this employee was still learning. The only suggestion I would have for this place is to have an experienced employee to make sure the the products the new employees are making are given correctly to the customer. Overall I feel like this Frostbites has the best customer service I have ever experienced in an ice cream shop of any sort.I completely recommend this location because of their great customer service, but overall I recommend any Frostbites because of their excellent choice in flavors and great tasting products. Bottom line I give this particular Frostbites a thumbs up and an overall grade of A because of the outstanding customer service, great tasting products, and convenient location, this place is of great value because the price is reasonable compared to amount of product given to...

Q:Frostbites? Why do you recommend it? A:It's all about the sorbet cream, Rodney. The friendly employees give out unlimited samples so you can decide just what flavor/flavor combination you want. I have, on occasion, just come in for the samples ;p But, always with others buying their sorbet creams.

Q:What flavors does Frostbites offer? A:Frostbites has more common flavors such as cherry, but they also have more unique flavors like passionfruit & pumpkin pie. To top that off, Frostbites also has many flavor combinations. To name a few - Cactus Cooler, Almond Joy & one I recently tried, Sour Gummy Worm! Just ask the employees about their flavor combos and they'll hook you up. Sour Gummy Worm is OMG cray cray amazeballs, to use my internet chick slang ;p

Frostbites also offers fresh, made to order crepes. I can't give an opinion on them, since sorbet creams are usually what's on my mind when I arrive, but I'm sure they're delicious.

Q:Is there plenty of seating? How about the parking? A:Seating was available when I was there, with booths and small tables including outdoor seating. Frostbites is conveniently located across Cypress College, so I imagine it can get packed with lines during the warmer months. Parking is in a shared private lot.

I visited the frost bites in Cypress with my two young daughters and at first the attendant that helped us was very nice. We normally go to the Cerritos location but we tried this one because it was closer to our house. From this visit, I assume that each location has different flavors and mixtures which is unusual for a franchised ice cream shop. My daughter asked for her normal order and the lady said she didn't know how to make it so we went to her backup order which again she said she didn't know how to make. So as my two daughters were looking at the different flavors we were told to move down but my daughter had not been able to choose what she wanted yet and when I said give us a second because My daughter is picking what she wants. We were told you need to move down. There was only one person behind us which he said it was okay but the young blonde lady kept insisting that my daughters needed to move down. I finally told her we will move down after they choose what they want. I will never visit this location again even if it is closer to my house if I could give less than one...
