Horrible customer service. Tried to order a few doors with install at this Home Depot and went back and forth for over a month. Went in the first time after a scheduled home measurement, which took over two weeks. Went into the store to pick out doors, colors, model, manufacture - basically ready to order. Wasted over TWO hours at the store setting this up and waiting for a salesperson. They took forever filtering door results and kept on saying we don't carry that or I'll look into that one and get back to you tomorrow. In the end....no callback from the person working in the door / window department. Also, I physically walked into the store on two occasions the following week to talk to sales person in-person and literally no one available at the department. They paged two salespersons for assistance to the door/window department and I literally waited for 20 mins until someone finally came and they could not help me with my order. I politely complained that I am very interested in ordering and installing doors from Home Depot, but was having a difficult time to have someone in the department to complete my order even though they said to come in and they left notes for the morning person about my order. The random salesperson (not the window/door salesperson) apologized and explained they get it, and shrugged their shoulders and went onto explain that they had been at that store since they opened. I'm sorry, but how does that help me order doors or go to some other place to order doors like Lowe's or anywhere else. And again, shoulder shrugs and the I get it response. In the end....no doors ordered, no return call, no proper service. I would not recommend anyone to order doors/windows from this store - probably even Home Depot in general. The sales persons on the floor seem to dodge customers asking questions - where this is or that in the store or with basic questions. My favorite is when you ask about two items and a sales person looks at the two products and basically reads back the everything on the label as if I couldn't or didn't read the label. I'd respect the sales person more if they were honest and said, I really don't know. Let me get someone else to help. So now, I make it a point to avoid this store or buy anything from Home Depot - instead I go to Ace Hardware in Garden Grove, where they greet and help you find what you need when you walk...

I bought a grill non assembled. Took it home and started assembling. I planned the whole evening with my family with a nice dinner. Even during the assembly of grill I was setting up pit fire to have a good time. I didn’t know that the next moment the whole planning will be ruined. I opened the packing cover from the 6 burner dome and realized that this is not what I ordered. That very moment I stopped and rushed to the store and told them about it. The girl who helped me look up the item came and realized it was her mistake and called her supervisor. The supervisor asked me whether I brought the item that was sent mistakenly, I said no I can’t since I need a truck to bring it back got the store( I rented Home Depot truck to take it home initially). So the supervisor said sorry everyone is out and he can’t send anyone to pick up grill at home. Then I said, I can take the truck and bring their item back but asked them to check if they have the one I asked for. They searche for couple of minutes and came to me with the grill I requested originally with assembled. They gave me the truck for free and it was almost 9:30PM and store closes at 10. I have to rush and to go home. After I reached home I took my wife’s help to get the grill down from truck(it was really scary). Once we brought the Grill down I immediately put the first item I received back into the truck and it was 10:01pm. I started from home and reached Home Depot around 10:13pm. The store was closed but they opened the door and the supervisor came and gave me $50 off on top of the price I paid but I haven’t heard a sorry and I felt that $50 didn’t do any satisfaction to me in front of $400. I swear the return process with the pro members and just normal members is absolutely horrific the last year or so with all Home Depots maybe even 2 years.. and honestly I think they keep it really bad on purpose. That way it discourages people from wanting to return things... I spent $70,000 at Home Depot last year a "pro elite"... And their system to look up receipts with their pro account or credit cards is an absolute mess and I normally have to go on my phone and look up receipts for them because they can't for whatever reason... Also, they need to figure out how to do returns from instacart/doordash and do some trainings... The manager that helped me was an absolutely wonderful person and a saint, and deserves a raise, keep her around! And even her manager was great. But again they are only limited to the systems they have to use which makes their jobs 100 times harder. So I'm writing this review only to hope it reaches corporate and enough big time players and purchasers at Home Depot get through to corporate. And in all honesty, it's working for me, I've been actually wanting to try to use Lowe's more frequently. Because of this I used to only spent about 10% and my purchases there and is probably jumped up to 25 to 30% now. Especially how they are able to order lumber online and have it delivered.
