Dade City Garden Club — Attraction in Dade City

If I could give zero stars I would’ve. The location is great, the venue it’s self is simple and gives the church vibes on the outside but when it comes to the star rating, being so low is simply due to the customer service of the lady you book with. She was very short, made you feel like it was an inconvenience to ask or clarify anything. Even when coming in to measure things the way she interacted with the other potential clients, she was overly snippy with them and actually made them feel uncomfortable!! I wish I would’ve read all the other reviews before booking because the cheaper price of a “wedding venue” honestly was not worth it due to this ladies attitude and highly suggest someone else running it that actually seems to enjoy their job. Contacting me the night before my event/ wedding and having a voicemail left that was so belittling with repeating rules when she already clarified these with me before plus have a contract for, but the voicemail repeating as if I was a 5 year old I did not appreciate. It was just simply unnecessary rudeness for the entire experience and don’t think customer service should be anywhere of belittling, snippiness, inconvenient feel, etc. I could keep going on about the down falls but all is simply for this lady you book with and tour with. HORRIBLE!! SHE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BEFORE SHE LOSES ALL...

Great little place to have a small wedding! Had plenty of room for my 40 guests. The gardens are beautiful! I will say they were not maintained very well in certain places with dead branches in the pathways and overgrown bushes in certain places. They do have a bit of an ant problem on the celebration patio. I knew having an outdoors wedding would most likely include insects but these were huge ants and the day after my wedding I woke up to be covered in insect bites. I was too caught up in the moment to even notice anything during my wedding. Guests later told me they were falling from the vines on the arch. Brenda is very nice and accommodating. This is definitely a great place for pictures and the price is the best part. The kitchen is awesome with plenty of room! Renovated bathrooms as well. Would definitely recommend this place. My niece got married here. We set up and broke down for her. Everything was just as we’d found it when we left. The next day my niece received a message that there was a table missing! She called my husband and he told her that a 6 foot table was mixed in with the 8 ft tables. Today, she received another message saying the table can’t be found. Once she told them she was going up there, they miraculously found the table!!! I wouldn’t use this place for anything ever. If they’re going to do that to her they’ll do it to anyone. If you do decide to use this place, make sure you video before and after the event, including the closet where the tables are and the spot where the chairs are to avoid this happening to you!!!!!!
