Dantara Thai Wellness Spa — Attraction in Dallas

It was horrible. Waste of money. Booked an appointment for my wife as she is pregnant and she has been really sore. Her body hurts and it’s just sad for me to see her like this. So I booked a parental massage for her from a license therapist in this field. We made it clear from the start that only female as my wife is not comfortable with males touching her. Her privacy is important for her. As soon as we arrived the male owner was there in the room and my wife told them again that only female please. She didn’t understand much English to make things even more complicated. My wife would tell her to work on her feet or shoulders and she would be there for 2 minutes and then come back to the back. As if this wasn’t bad enough the male owner walks in. My wife freaks out and covers herself and they apologize. The question here is what business did he have going into the room. The lady who was giving the massage says he’s the owner and that’s her only explanation.

The owner is a creep walking in everywhere and I would stay away from this place if you value your privacy. We paid cash in full and left. My wife couldn’t even enjoy or feel relaxed the whole massage because she feared a guy walking in. It was a waste of money and time. They ended up locking the door later as per my wife’s request but the damage was done. Terrible horrific experience. I ended up giving her a massage after as it was that bad which was much better than a so called professional who’s licensed in this.

First off—this place is legit. I’ve only just started coming here, but I can already tell it’s going to be my go-to spot for Thai massage. What really stands out is that each massage therapist has their own unique style, so I’m planning to try them all and update this review as I go.

So far, I’ve had sessions with a few of the therapists, and here’s what I’ve experienced:

Nikki is the knot killer. No joke—she has a sixth sense for finding tension. Even the tiniest knots don’t stand a chance. She’s firm, focused, and doesn’t stop until your muscles give in. I walked out sore in the best way and way more mobile than when I came in.

NeNe is all about stretching. Her approach is more traditional Thai, and she’ll twist and stretch your body back into shape. It feels like a yoga class where someone else does the work for you—and you walk out feeling rebalanced and loose.

Pim has incredible hands. Her massage is smooth, intentional, and really targets deep muscle tension. She checks in just enough, but also works with a flow that feels natural and relaxing. Perfect for days when you just need everything to chill out.

I can already tell each of these women brings something special to the table. I’m excited to work my way through the full team here and see what each one has to offer. Will definitely keep this review...

We were looking for a Spa that had massage and facial services near Addison area to celebrate my cousins birthday, and they did not disappoint. They recently took over from the previous owner for the past month, and trying to improve the company all around (decor, customer service, prices and services).The ladies are so sweet and accommodating. My favorite service was the facial with Jai. She is very experienced and knowledgeable. She educated me about my skin and the type of products I should use to improve my skincare routine. She will customize each facial based on each individual and just has great energy overall, which was the highlight of the spa experience for me. This was the first time I got a deep tissue and Thai massage. I agreed for them to walk on me and there are different levels (make sure u tell them if you want it to be easy or more harder). They will stretch your body with different positions and focus on certain areas that were mentioned.It was a new experience for me and glad I tried it out because my body was def tense.
