Gioia Hairdressing — Attraction in Dallas

I was very nervous as my hairdresser of 20 years is ill, so a friend recommended Gioia Salon. Daniela for my color, Allesio did my cut and may i say I was so pleasantly surprised my experience was AMAZING! Going to a new place, with new color challenges, and covering a little grey with totally new people is always stressful...but Daniela put me immediately at ease asking me "how i saw my hair" first and foremost. She came up with a great color choice and then Alessio (the artist) took great care to visit with me, make suggestions and did my cut/blow out. I came out of there feeling (and looking) ten years younger....and for a very fair price. They do not rush, are professional and very clean as well as using good products. I plan to go back and get some of their recommended "root stimulator" when they get it back in. They are all from Italy (from fav country) and it shows.. their experience and techniques are unrivaled! I have found my new home. Don't hesitate to try them.....Claudio the owner is great too....

I went to Gioia salon with a gift card won at a golf tournament, I usually only go to Aveda Salons, but I thought “hey change is good!”. My first impression was great! Receptionist and the lady who washed my hair were sweet!

I was happy with my style at first, but after the curls had gone down I noticed huge variations in the layers. Almost as if I had a Mullet. I called to have it fixed, I was came in early the next day, to the original stylist who said my hairstyle was great! They washed my hair and the hairdresser cut my hair 1/2 inch in length, offered to but product in my hair and that was it! When I asked if she was going to dry my hair I was rudely replied with “this is only a cut”. When I got home and dried my hair MYSELF, again layers were visible!

Customer service is a HUGE part of business! Hairdressers are people too and I understand that people make mistakes. Own it and do your best to...

Mirella is an excellent hair stylest. I had not had my hair cut or colored for about 3 months because the previous lady I went to at another salon really did an awful job and I was waiting for it to grow out eneogh to have it done again the right way. Mirella listened to what I wanted and she helped me with advice. She colored my hair and gave me highlights. Then she cut my hair, washed it and blew it dry. When she finished and I looked in the mirror I felt like I was pretty for the first time in a long time. It was a wonderful feeling. I was so happy and pleased with the results. My hair is so easy to take care of now. I will be returning to Gioia Salon to see Mirella again. I can't say eneogh good things about her. Everyone at the salon was nice to me.
