I just drove through to assess the progress of rebuilding after last year's tornadoes. Many of the businesses have still not reopened. However a number of the businesses are open. It was difficult to tell which ones and how far they've come in rebuilding simply because I was so pressed for time. This is been a prime retail location for decades and decades. Clearly it will be back. Work is going on everywhere. So sad that some of the independent businesses won't recover. Many of them will and are doing so. They absolutely need your patronage. Read moreI visited the Dallas Royal location this past weekend for the Rustic Italian Date Night and it was so fun! Definitely something new and fun for sure. Chef Lex was great and had a bit of dry humor which I appreciated very much. We also had a great group of students, which made the experience funner. The food turned out great, very flavorful and I learned a few new tips and tricks to apply to my own kitchen. We also walked away with the recipes. We were able to enjoy the food after, but it's not a sit down and relax time afterwards (just to keep in mind). It was a very fast 2.5 hours, I couldn't believe how quickly the time went.
