Unfortunately, not the best experience. I paid almost $900 for about 30 wedding invitations. The staff was awesome and extremely helpful with the initial ordering process. Not a single problem there. Once the order was placed however.... a few issues came about. First, I paid $50 for rush proof. That did not happen although they did refund the $50. I would've rather had the service ordered -obviously. Second, ribbon and envelope backing did not match. The envelope backing was on backorder so I didn't get a chance to physically see them when I ordered. I went off the suggestion of sales staff. I ended up buying ribbon from Michael's so that problem was solved. THEN, I specifically asked for the ribbon on the invitations to be tied a certain way. Not only did that not happen, they weren't on the invitations at all!!! When I picked the invitations up and communicated they were supposed to be tied - crickets.... Even though it is clearly listed on the receipt. Since I was a bit frustrated by that time, I just took my box and left. I guess since I had to buy new ribbon that was a good thing? I know tying ribbons on 30 invitations may not seem like a big deal but when you (a) spend the amount of money I did and (b) not plan to do that, it can be a bit nerve wracking. Lastly, none of the envelopes would seal?!?! Not sure if it was because of the added backing or the envelope seal just wasn't strong enough. Nonetheless, after licking a few (disgusted!), glue stick, krazy glue and gorilla glue, I finally taped them all down and moved on with my life. Not the pretties presentation but by this point, I was sooooo over it. Anywho, certainly not the experience I'd hoped for...
Read moreVery disappointed with Mary at the Paper Source on Royal Ln. When we first had our appointment to discuss wedding invitations with her in January, the appointment took over 2 hours because she kept getting distracted with other customers even though there were other employees working that day. We got our invitations on January 21st but we didn't get our envelopes. I was told by another associate that it was a separate process. I waited a couple of weeks and started to get suspicious so I called the store. I was told Mary would call me back. She didn't. I called again, no one was able to help me with wedding information. I called another time and finally got ahold of Mary. It turns out she was supposed to send me a template the same day we placed our order, she never did. So a month later, in February, she finally sent me the template after I had to call multiple times. I told her I needed the invitations expedited because we were already well over our deadline to mail out invitations. A week later, I had to call (AGAIN!!) to ask about my invitations. Finally I got a hold of the manager, Alicia, who was the only helpful associate it at this store. She tracked down my invitations, had them expedited and checked my order to make sure it was right. Alicia was great. Mary is absolutely horrible and should NOT be in charge of the wedding department of this store - she never even apologized for the over a month delay that she caused us...
