I don't really know where to start, this was such an amazing experience for my wife and I. She especially loves seeing dolphins so close. It seems like we saw hundreds. They were swimming all around in front of the boat and jumping and putting on a show for us. We got to see a gray whale up close and for a long time. It was truly an inspiring experience. William's boat was very comfortable. The inflatable gunwales allowed you to lean on them as opposed to having a rigid aluminum or fiberglass structure trying to get up close to the dolphins. My wife was so happy she cried :) William is amazing Captain is very accommodating. Another great thing about William is that he is the owner and entrepreneur. There were some other tour boats but they were packed full of people and the boats did not look as comfortable as his. I was really impressed that William and the other captains helped each other out. William was telling everyone on the radio where to find the whale, and they were telling him where the dolphins were currently at. Its been a few weeks, but wanted to ensure I wrote this review and tell Captain Will thanks again for the great trip. First - Will was able to confirm a quick fishing trip on short notice and we agreed to make it work at bit later in the afternoon. We met and after a stop to get bait we were quickly catching fish. Will was informative, helpful and patient with 2 kids and 4 adults on board. We moved a few times to stay in areas where the fish were biting and he also stopped and pointed out countless pods of dolphins. I checked the reviews before booking - and I'm so happy we were able to make it work! Don't overthink this decision - Captain will is the guy you want to go with for a private fishing/dolphin/whale tour. We never felt uncomfortable and his boat had plenty of space for all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to go whale and dolphin watching with William. We had the extraordinary opportunity to go out on a private tour. The boat was special, it was very safe but smaller compared to the large big company boats, giving us the chance to get a close look at the 50+ dolphins that came to play and swim alongside the boat. While William positioned us as best possible to see all available wildlife, we didn't see whales (that is a matter of fate), we saw many dolphins, birds, and a sea lion! William is a professional and knowledgable captain, and an overall very likable person to spend time with out on the water. He even suggested we move up our reservation time to earlier in the day based on the weather - which turned out to be fantastic for us.
