Dana Point Hardware — Attraction in Dana Point

This is a really great hardware store. Their goods are well curated, they most likely have what you need. I particularly like the well organized and vast selection of nuts, bolts, screws, fasteners, washers, and assorted hardware. You will not find this selection at any of the big box stores.

Here is what sets this store apart from home depot, lowes and even other small hardware stores. These guys know their stuff. They are so helpful. They can answer most any questions and can recommend what to use for a specific application. Also, THEY ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! No IVR! They can confirm if what you want is in stock and what the cost is.

I find their prices competitive, especially when you consider how convenient they are in Dana Point.

I went here on the recommendation of my dad who'd had great experiences here. I needed to complete a simple wood staining project very quickly but I'd never done such a thing before and had no idea what I was doing. I was in and out within 5 minutes thanks to the extremely helpful and kind women who were working. They advised me which things I probably wouldn't need for the project and they were right. This is one of those rare hardware stores that (I think) is a local family owned store. It is a somewhat small store, but they have a huge selection of merchandise. I believe they’ve figured out what customers generally want/need and stock those items. Not only household hardware, but also many products appropriate for boaters (Dana Point Harbor is nearby).
