First time visiting. 139 steps going down. No clear markings about the golf cart option for elderly/disabled/young children, etc. Went down and back with my 86 year old mother in law who’s in decent shape, but it was 75 degrees and sunny. BETTER SIGNAGE NEEDED TO WARN PEOPLE ABOUT THE TREK DOWN AND STEEP RAMP + GOLF CART...

At a minimum, the funicular will be open to the public during daylight hours on weekends, holidays year-round, and every day beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Really enjoy running the steps next to the funicular! Great workout and beautiful...

The strands funicular has not been operational in a long time. I suspect that money talks and that the fancy, gated community next to it has something to do with it not being operational for the common folk. So, be prepared for a very steep downhill and uphill walk to...
