This review is for the Ritz Carlton location (a thousand percent better service here vs the Laguna Beach location where all the employees have a bad attitude). Everyone here was very nice, supportive, friendly and cheerful. No long lines, no pushy customers, just a quiet pleasant location and with a much larger selection of food. The prosciutto baguette and apricot puff pastry was excellent, outstanding espresso. I’ve tried the deserts at the LB location, not good, since they all come from the same location I would avoid these, they are made to look good but just don’t compare to the quality at other French patisseries like Dominque Ansel at The Grove ( I took his master class and can make something at home that taste better than the deserts from Moulin). If they put more skill into making their deserts for flavor, taste and texture it would be much better. I think they are counting on the average American just not knowing the difference. Moulin is a charming French restaurant that offers an excellent dining experience. Whether you're looking for a delicious brunch or breakfast, Moulin has a wide selection of amazing French dishes to choose from. I highly recommend trying their Croque Madame, which was incredibly mouth-watering. The toasts were perfectly crispy, and the sauce, ham, and cheese were just the right amount.

Their classical French desserts and pastries are also worth mentioning. We tried their Opera Cake and Paris-Brest, and both were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Paris-Brest with its delicious hazelnut notes and perfect level of sweetness. The Opera Cake was equally delicious, and it was a pure pleasure to eat.
