By far and wide one of the best stores in the area, had a super random question for a gentleman named Francisco who does a lot of the late/over night stocking of the shelves (needed a gingerbread house) and he not only took the time to go back and look, but was genuinely upset when he couldn't find them for me. This was something my gf wanted to do together and he clearly saw this so he found us in the store (way far from where we saw him) and he took down my phone number and messaged me when they were in stock again, which was the next day. I personally didn't have many experiences at this store that were very notable until this happened but then when going back in there were other staff that recognized us, greeted us as they were sticking shelves and I realized that this is a great group of people who like doing their job and helping others - even those who had a difficult time w English. Francisco deserves a raise and a promotion and should be the type they put in a position to train others because he simply gets it, and if they found him, I'm sure they have a solid hiring process and environment so 5 stars for this spot, glad I had the pleasure of doing most of my Xmas shopping here and will continue to return although the saugus one is a bit more convenient - I'd rather go where I can see a familiar face and be greeted/treated like I am appreciated than go to the closer one any day of the week, hats off to Francisco and the late/overnight team here, y'all are why I will be back time...
Read moreOnce upon a time this store was good. Now they’re more concerned with helping the two Shipt delivery drivers than addressing the line of customers that extend into the middle of the store. The front end leaders couldn’t care less about customers or be more disinterested in expediting the check out process. Returns lines stretch to the door while pods of employees stand by and chat.
Good luck finding food products on the shelf. Even considering the logistics difficulties presented by the pandemic, this store’s in stock position is dismal. They must be figuring out a way to sell air.
Employees walk around the stores with eyes downcast, avoiding any type of human interaction. Most are preoccupied with pushing carts of freight, often into your cart and without any acknowledgement of your presence, while rarely succeeding in getting the product onto the shelves. Seems like the only associates not moving freight are consumed with online orders, but they too are so busy they don’t engage either.
I didn’t always feel this way. I used to enjoy coming to this store. Perhaps Target should stop frittering money away on redundant and unnecessary renovations and instead invest that money in talent and customer service training.
Do yourself a favor and leverage Target’s online service with home delivery. Target still has good products; some of their stores just fail to deliver on the service end. If you must shop in store, do it at the Woburn Target. That store is well run, well stocked and...
Read moreI didn't like this store before the pandemic because they never had things fully stocked when I went there and things were always a bit messy. Yesterday was my first day there since the quarantine started and I'm severely traumatized. I had an hour to shop before I had to pick up my kids from daycare. I got all my stuff and around 3:40 I went to get in line and realized it was curved all around the store. I waited patiently for about 30 minutes, but as I was approaching the check-outs the available registers went from 2 down to 1 register (the line is still curved around the store). No Target employees seemed to be concerned by this. Eventually I had to leave the line and abandon my cart or else I was going to be late picking up my kids. I must have waited between 30-40 minutes and was still probably 10 minutes from check out when I left. So Target, you are expecting people to wait 40-50 minutes just to check out? If that is the case you need to inform people of the wait times. I think that was the worst part, that no Target employees seemed to care. Furthermore, when I abandoned my cart I found an employee and tried to briefly explain what happened and why I had to leave and she acted annoyed. That is hardly how you should treat a customer. I still need to pick up the things that I went there for and may have time today, but I was so upset by the whole experience yesterday that I don't think I'm going back to Target...
