Danville Stadium Cinemas — Attraction in Danville

This was my first film post pandemic. I was a little leery with covid still fresh on my mind but my grandson and I went to see Jurassic Park. Upon arriving the crowd wasn't bad at all and we were quickly able to purchase our tickets and snacks, by the way we were able to sit anywhere we chose because of the time of day and we only paid six bucks for the tickets. Now tell me where can you watch a new film for only 6 bucks? Anyway the place smelled clean and looked spotless. My grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves the entire two and a half hours of the movie. The clerk's taking care of refreshments were very polite and courteous, they made me feel welcomed and the acted as if they really wanted me there to enjoy myself, and I did. So if you're planning to view a movie let me suggest checking out an early show to save money and beat the crowd. I didn't mind paying $12 for candy and a drink considering what I payed for the tickets. It feels good to be able to go back out to such a great establishment here...

I had the stupidity and great misfortune of going to see a movie, at Danville Stadium Cinemas last week. Oh, yes! As some reviewers raved, the staff is friendly, the seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room, and the acoustics are phenomenal. All of that means NOTHING!! It was still AUGUST! And I was in a short-sleeved summer-weight shirt. The temperature of the Theater I was in felt like the temperature had to be turned to 40°! And, like an idiot, I sat there and froze, for no good or sane reason for 2 1/4 hours! AIR CONDITIONING WAS NOT INVENTED SO THAT WE WOULD WISH WE WERE SITTING IN FRONT OF A BLAZING FIREPLACE!!! Who is the madman who controls the thermostat in the this building?! What manager would allow money to be so wasted unnecessarily, not only in the cost of keeping such a large area refrigerated past the point of logic, reason and sanity, but also in seeing to it that other flash-frozen movie-goers like myself, will NEVER return to this Ice House disguised as a...

It's a special place for me! It's where daddy daughter date night started and it's magical! Everyone at this cinema is outstanding even as far as making sure of where everyone is sitting socially distant by household. This place is stunning. Great place to go and kick back and just let the world wash away for a couple of hours. With twelve different movies showing at alternating times you could easily catch a triple feature if you wanted in one outing and popcorn and soda refills are free at least when you purchase a combo. I don't know anything but the combo though it's the best deal going two huge drinks and a tub of popcorn for 21 dollars at a theater nowadays is a steal !!! That's just the number one if you need more they have combos for larger groups as well. Definitely recommend whether it's a date or hanging out with friends or to take the kids out it's a wholesome environment for any...
