This place is filled with historical facts about the Sheriff and his family that lived in the house. Also about historical happenings of that era. Hard to believe that the Sheriff and his family lived in the same house along with inmates. I can't imagine. Thank you to the knowledgeable tour guide that enlightened us about many different things. Check this museum out on the Danville Square.

We really enjoyed our visit to this museum. Lots of great local history and great displays. Very nicely kept grounds and facilities. The old jail area was interesting and the working phonograph was interesting for the boys- no electricity required 😀.

We found a small, quaint place that we really enjoyed touring. It was educational and interesting. The guides were informed and...
