World Star Nails and Spa — Attraction in Darien

I had the most amazing experience with Nicole at the World Star Nails' salon and spa! She did a wonderful job on my dipped nails! I got the French tips look. They look so natural and beautiful! This was my first time and now this is my new nail and spa place! I'm definitely going to be coming back to get my nails done again! The interior design is beautiful as well. You feel like you are a princess or a famous person getting your nails done it's so posh! It's so worth to give it a try and deff try out the dipped technique! *I just went back with my mom and mother in law and got a pink Into white face with a coffin shape and they look amazing... We got all our toes done! And we felt like queens. They made my mom feel soo good about her feet which she was so embarrassed about. This Nail spa is truly an amazing place to to come for a great relaxing time to come by your self or friends! Come see for yourself you won't be disappointed. The gentleman who worked on my nails was so intent 9n getting my nails just right I'm telling you. This is the place to go! I even got my eyebrows done. I don’t recommend coming here, had a terrible experience. I came to get my nails done here based on the pictures from website and let me tell you it’s nothing like that, it’s more like they hurry as fast as they can to get you out of there. Firstly they didn’t ask what base color I wanted when getting my full set, which was going to be white French tip with diamonds, they just went ahead and put a light pink base, but I should’ve noticed the red flag when I seen the tips they were going to use which looked like they were curved and from the early 2000’s vibes. Secondly, I showed them my reference picture and the nails were long, did they even come close to that length? No. When I said I usually like longer, they said it was long enough. Then I noticed that one of my nails was put on crookedly and what do they say? It’s my own nails fault. They just look so cheap and nothing like my picture and i paid $85, I’m so disappointed, hopefully for future customers you see this review and don’t make the same mistake I did. I came here in february and it was a slow wednesday maybe and I had a great experience however, I came today and my friend and I had an appointment. no problem. we pick the same type of pedicure and we notice the women are using the SAME scrubs on the both of us, it’d be different if they were using utensils to put it into their hands, but no. they both were dipping their hands in the scrubs and I said something and instead of just getting new scrubs the woman that was doing my feet tried to “explain” instead of just getting new everything . I noticed in their basket they had only one of everything for the pedicure and when I finally said something they went to get their own supplies. I normally pay a lot of money for my pedicures and that’s NO problem but to charge so much for no chip a long with french… i’m just not coming back. my friend and I shouldn’t be sharing each others feet juices in our scrubs… I should of just got up and left but I did my part and said something and it...
