She is an Old School Beauty of a Park, almost frozen in Time & the Mississippi is Her Friend that comes to visit from time to time. It's probably because of this this Park hasn't been overdeveloped & I believe that the TWO of Them know what they're doing more so than Any Potbellied Politician! Elevate river drive all along the river to protect the Concrete Jungle from Flooding & keep a Taste of Green Space for ALL of Us to Visit...

A terrific place for outdoor concerts, with the Riverfront Pops and Festival of Praise being standouts for me. Terrific location on the riverfront, with a great view of the Centennial Bridge. The stage is very nice, though it's much more pleasant to view once the sun goes down because of the angle.

I love driving in this area. We almost walked regularly here before too until there was a shady guy that was gonna pass us that looked like he had a drink so we turned around. There are a lot of birds to see and sometimes you'll see bits of torn fish on the ground while walking. Beautiful scenery.

Mississippi Valley Blues Festival ! Venue was perfect for a blues festival. Limited fixed seating , but most people had chairs and sat further back . Line up was great .Plenty of food truck options or restaurants within walking distance .Two hotels within walking distance. Will be back .

Came in for the Icestravaganza. We even got to do some Eagle Watching, very peaceful, along the Riverfront. Easy accessible, quiet, calming.
