Firefighters Park — Attraction in Davie

Where are you going to train up the next generation of firefighters and EMT's? You have to start young so take them to this adorable Firefighters Park. Located next door to the Davie Fire Department, you can see the big trucks coming and going as your little ones enjoy playing in a firefighter themed park designed just for them.

Opened in 2018, money for the park was provided by the Davie Community Redevelopment Agency. The park has a shade cover over the playground. There is a play structure shaped like a fire truck for the little ones and a larger climbing structure and slides for the older kids. There are also swings including one that is ADA accessible. A paved exercise trail runs the length of the park.

Nice park for a toddler. Very clean, the equipment is in good condition. There's not much to do for older kids. There is a big field that kids can run in. We like the variety of slide sizes and different climbing activities. Cute fire truck as part of the playground. The swings are nice but because of the hard material, difficult for a toddler to sit in especially if they are on the smaller side. We love this playground, it’s not only close to our home but also to our kids school so they get to meet here with their friends after school on some occasions. The firefighters are also very kind and we’ve had a couple times where they came out of the fire station and brought some plastic firefighter hats, the kids love it and they get to interact with them.
