Bohème Clothing & Gifts — Attraction in Davis

There are a ton of clothes here, really fun. The reason I am even reviewing is the horrible and non supportive treatment of an employee by one of the owners. I just had to wait to purchase my clothing while the women owner bereated the person working about sweaters and coats. The employee stated that because of their rotater cuff injury she was not working coats , too heavy. The owner basically said that's too much pressure on other employees and was giving me the ick. No support, no I hope you heal soon, no other words, just mean and flat, and uncaring. I have worked retail for 20 plus years, that is not how you treat an employee. Injury or not, trat people well and you will see wonderful results. O won't be returning here. I hope that person finds a job they like and are supported at. I told them to heal up and take good care of themselves. No one else will take care of themselves...

First off let me just say that the clothes that are sold at this store are amazing. Whenever I come in I always find something cute to get. They have a variety of clothing types. Recently it seems like the prices have risen, which is okay because you still get a great value . My main issue with Boheme: Hip and Used Clothing is the staff. There is one lady that is always at the counter (I'm assuming she is the owner), who can be very rude to her patrons. I went into this store with my friends and she singled out one of them and was unessesarily rude. I have heard stories of her being rude before but didnt belive it until i saw it myself. I went in last Friday looking for a dress for an event. When I went to the counter with my purchase, the older white woman who was checking me out, looked at me (a plus size person) and ,asked in voice that sounded almost concerned, if I tried the dress on. I told her no, I'm confident that this will fit me. Then she made it very clear that there are no returns on the dress in question.

If it weren't for this weird interaction, I would have been very happy with my experience with this store. While I'm not particuarlly bothered by this expereince, it may be helpful for folks who would be more hurt by that...
