Food was delicious. Two in our party had the Denver crepes. One had an apple cheese crepe. One had the Nutella crepe. I had to do an omelet because of my gluten issues, but they made it the California style for me. I'm a big fan of anything with sun-dried tomatoes in it, so that in the pesto along with the spinach and avocado among the other tasty ingredients, was delicious for me. Everyone else loved their food, too. Even the potatoes served on the side were being raved about. My husband joked he'd go back just for a plate of the potatoes. They were super busy when we went, but the long line to order moved fairly quickly and we didn't wait an unreasonable amount of time for our food. The order taker was friendly. They had two people come out to serve our food so we'd all get it at the same time. My only minor gripe was that if you wanted to sit in the covered outdoor eating area that was a little less crowded than inside, you (and the wait staff) had to go back out the front door and negotiate through the big line still waiting to get in to get to that part of the sidewalk. If this restaurant ever gets the funds to pay for a small side door for customers to more easily get to that outside eating area, that would make it just about perfect. But based on the food and customer service alone, it's nearly...

Prices are totally fair and quality generally quite good. Some dishes and even soups might seem gimmicky like the "red chowder" my friend got, which seemed to be a minestrone with clams, nothing more.
I enjoy their salads quite a lot. I wish the outdoor seating felt more outdoors but it is what it is. Interior atmosphere is quite charming and eclectic if you're in the right mood. But today happened to be kinda cloudy and all the sunlight which usually would enter through the top and light this restaurant up was not there and it was a bit dark and gloomy inside.
Also, there is a lightly noticable smell of copper in the air. It's due to your copper tables. You can draw on them with lemon juice by deoxidizing the surface temporarily. Not sure if it's in bad taste to do that but personally, I encourage it. All part of the silly charm here!
Are their crepes good? You'd hope so. And there are, generally. They've quite a selection and without any strong feeling either way, I'd say that if they were to use real whipped cream on their dessert crepes, they'd be quite awesome. Maybe that's an option? Ask for...
Read moreI used to love coming to this place but it’s so mismanaged and understaffed the employees are rude, aggressive, and argumentative towards customers. It’s overly busy and the seating area is a free-for-all brawl to find somewhere to sit. The staff patrol the restaurant like it’s a police state, saying you can’t reserve tables until you’ve paid and have a number (which a did). Me and my boyfriend split up to look for a table and he found one first and sat down, while I had the number on the other side of the restaurant. He came over to grab me and in a matter of 20 seconds a female staff member grabbed my boyfriend’s jacket and personal belongings off of the table. When we came back to sit down and I told her those were our things she argued very aggressively with me and didn’t allow me to explain before angrily telling us we can’t reserve tables until we’ve paid. The food is overpriced already for what it is. The lack of a system creates an uncomfortable environment where the staff is fighting with customers. I’d give a zero star review if I could. This staff member shouldn’t work in food service as she seems obviously deeply unhappy...
