The Davis Collection — Attraction in Davis

While I actually love all of the shops in this location I witnessed one of the Janitorial Staff and also a women who seemed to be “Security” for this shopping mall- harassing a very nice Trader Joes employee. There were other customers in Trader Joes who saw this happen and all of which were confused as the two that were not the Trader Joes employee were loud and purposefully trying to come off as “ghetto” which is weird that they would be allowed to work for the shopping mall in the first place. The place has been going on a downward spiral for several years now. Many stores are or were closed, including a very popular bar that was the center of gathering for sports events. The mall stay relevant in the area because Trader Joe’s is still within the perimeter of the mall. The mall was supposed to transform into apartments and stores type of strip mall a few years back but that has not happened yet. The place is alright really small though. The only big store is forever 21 then there's a Trader Joe's off to the side, an eyebrow shop, a bike store, and Starbucks along with some other places to eat. I really wish they would have had more clothing stores or anything like target closer to campus. I hate that we have to go so far away from campus to get anything we actually need.
