My review is specifically regarding the Davison Meijer Pharmacy, not the entire store.
The service can be slow. My prescriptions are ALL supposed to be set up for "auto-refill" but this does not always happen even though I have asked repeatedly.
They have same issue with having all of my prescriptions being filled on the same day each month, which has never happened since I first switched over to this pharmacy. After the very first month, I had prescriptions that were being filled on different days, resulting in multiple visits.
Today, I had an incident where I was told that one of my prescriptions would be ready in 1 hour (and I had been made aware of the fact that I was completely out), so I left to do complete several other tasks. I returned OVER 1.5 hours later to discover that the prescription had not been filled due to my insurance telling them that it was too soon for it to be filled.
I realized that the reason why I ran completely out was because I take it twice per day and when I had picked up the previous month's supply for this particular prescription, I had received only 1/2 the normal quantity, therefore causing me to run out halfway before my prescription should have.
It is upsetting that the pharmacy never bothered to contact me nor my doctor about it, despite knowing that I was returning shortly to pick it up. Although it is the doctor's office who initially made the mistake, the Meijer Pharmacy SHOULD HAVE red-flagged it last month when the doctor's office sent a new prescription with half of my usual quantity for that dose.

Read moreI am very displeased with how this store runs their bottle return. I was there around 2p on a Monday (non-busy time). I unloaded 2 carts full of pop cans and walked into the store with my baby in one of the carts. I was told at the entrance that the bottle return was outside so I turned around and walked to the return. Upon arrival, I realized there was at least 20+ people waiting to return their deposits. There were so many people the line went out of the enclosure by at least 13 people. It was extremely windy and I couldn't keep my 1 month old daughter outside in that type of weather. I noticed several of the machine were stopped up or broken. This needs immediate attention. Due to Covid, and not being able to return bottles for a few months, the store should have realized the need to make sure the machines were in proper working order. I really don't like the location of the returns, a store remodel is something they should consider. I feel it is unreasonable to expect customers to wait outside when its freezing out just to return cans. We are heading into the winter months and I cant imagine many people willing to wait outside in the freezing Temps and snow. I won't be visiting this Meijer again for any of my shopping needs. I will go to the Meijer on hill rd, at least their bottle return is located inside the store. Read moreBought a 65' TV from them and noticed there was a dent in the TV as soon as I opened it. Took it back the same day and asked for an even trade. A lady working in customer service named Amanda was incredibly rude and treated me as a huge inconvenience. When I asked them to unbox the new TV for me to verify it was not damaged, also so everyone would know that it was in good condition leaving the store and if something were to happen it would be on me. She just became very short and asked me in a snippy tone "So what exactly do you want from me?" In which I replied that I wanted her to at least pretend to care about customer service and try to do some damage control here since I had to drive there twice for a product they sold damaged. She rolled her eyes and snapped back that it's not like they could see through the box and know the TV was damaged. I was very disappointed that Meijer would hire a lady so unreasonable and place her in customer service. Needless to say this has left a bad taste in my mouth for Meijer and I will be taking my electronic purchases elsewhere. I won't pretend this will make a blimp on their radar but I have always purchased my TV's and game systems from them, adding up to thousands over the years in loyal customer business but not any more.
