Always be aware of who's around you listening...that's my message. I went to checkout with 1 item, when I approached the cashier I say "Hey how are you?" Not a word of response. She looked unhappy for what it's worth. I almost don't blame her. The store manager was on the phone with someone to assist the guest in front of them and said "HI I've been getting transferred all over the place, I'm calling on behalf of (guests name) and now he's brought his problem to me. I'm the store manager for Staples in Daytona." First off, she made it sound like the guy was majorly inconveniencing her, and I'm sure he apologizes for bringing his "problem" to you. I would think as a store manager, she'd have more customer experience than that. She can know the business in and out but I'd use my pistol as a popsicle stick if I had to deal with her, let alone work for her. To the cashier my message is RUN!! Staples my message to you...do better. Damn.

I am very DISAPPOINTED with this location and do not think I will be going back. The employees here use to be very kind and helpful but ever since they have changed managers not so much. Not only are the employees rude as can be the manager is also.. which I am sure is why the employees feel they can be rude and unhelpful. This is the third time since the new manager started I have gone in and had the same experience. The first time I thought oh mayb it was just a bad day but now I know that is not the case. 3x now I have had the same experience. This time I went in and went to the print center to see if they could help me change one line and print a copy the lady behind the counter was snappy and very rude as she told me WE CANT DO THAT.. Without even looking at what I was talking about. I tried to talk to her and explain that 1) they had done the same thing for me once b4 and 2) i had called before I came and the guy who answered I didn't remember his name nick or something had told me they may not be able to do it but come up and let them see if there was Something they could do help. but she kept cutting me off n being very rude and was like WE DNT EVEN HAVE ANYONE WITH THAT NAME. she then yelled to another employee still being rude and DISRESPECTFUL. It really seemed more as if they didn't want to help then couldn't since they didn't even want to hear what I was asking or look. If they could not do it I understand tho I'm not sure how they did it last time and cant now, its the rudeness and attitude that is not understandable.. I thanked the other guy who had came up and told them I still had some other things I needed too. As I walked by the new manager I told him that the attitudes in this place have really gone down hill lately. He said nothing to me never came over to talk to me and or ask what I ment but apparently made a snide comment to other employees because as I am up the isle looking for the other things I needed I hear 2 other employees making comments n jokes about what I had said (they were not by him when I said it but he walked past them afterwards).. so apparently that is how they handle things. N feel customers should be treated. I will not be going back or recomend them to anyone. Atleast not until they get a new manager and an...

If you are making an appointment to get your TSA number here be prepared to wait. After arriving for my appointment on time/early the poor lady working was over an hour behind. She had ZERO support or help from the staff or management- even when she asked (several times)... She said she had only been on the job 3 weeks. She then "was made" to break at 1, leaving 5 of us who had been waiting with appointments to wait for her break to be finished... We had no problem with her taking a break but the manager's poor attitude, snarky remarks towards us and the lack of planning/staffing was evident. She came back from break again... and was now 2 hours behind and a store full of people waiting- this time when the "store manager" was requested- he was no where to be found to assist or help her with even checking people in. She even asked for help and they told her no. Don't make your appointment expecting it to mean anything and/or to get in and out. I had a list of things to purchase for the office and will take my business needs elsewhere in the future. I hope that poor lady gets the help she needs or the scheduling is better for her or the management take note and offer some kind of help! Respect people's time! You have a captive audience offering this service and I would have shopped there had we not been...

I had a disgusting experience here at this staples on 12/7 . I waited in line for a good 7 minutes behind a couple who couldn’t make up their mind how they wanted to ship their package. There was another person behind the desk , but it would be 7 minutes before I was greeted or he came over to ask me what I needed help with. I was trying to ship a Christmas gift. When he finally asked what I needed, he pointed me to another desk to go to where a large pudgy woman behind the register was completely rude and standoffish. She had a very nasty disposition toward me, for no reason. I was shocked. When finished with her, I still needed assistance behind the shipping desk, so I came back and while i waited for them to create a label for me, another woman walked into staples and was immediately helped by the same man who i had talked to previously. However, No 7 minute wait for her! She walked in, was greeted and taken care of right away. I would not walk into this staples another day of my life if I had to. I got my things shipped but to be treated the way I did was not worth it. I have since forwarded my complaint to this locations’ corporate office. 100% discriminatory, unacceptable...
