If I could zero stars I would. I will start with calling ahead to let the restaurant know that there will be a party of 5 arriving(being proactive). The host took our info and asked our time of arrival and told us to call 30 minutes prior to our arrival. He states there will be seating ready for us when we get there. We get there and let him know we are here(on time) and he tells us there is a 30 minute wait. When we ask him why so long and why would you tell us to go through all of that he barks at us and says”we don’t do reservations”, and leaves the podium. Once we are seated we watch the manager circle the area. All while interacting and asking all of the people around us “how’s your food, is everything ok?”. Not once did Steve stop to ask us about our meals that we all paid for and tipped the waiter John(who was great). Steve visited all tables that had white customers only. I know this because I observed him. Once I paid for my food and tipped my waiter I called to ask him why. He had no valid response. I’m not sure why our table(all black females) were not treated with the same “courtesy” that he showed to the white customers. I’m a very reasonable person and give people the benefit of the doubt. Steve is very unprofessional and definitely discriminates when it comes to black customers. We were not loud or rude, so there was no excuse to be treated that way when you have paid money to sit in an establishment and be treated that way. I will be calling the corporate office about this matter as well. I would not recommend Longhorn Steakhouse in Daytona Beach Florida if you are African American(Black) because of the prejudice...
Read moreJan. 12 2025. Definitely not on their game this day. Waited 30 minutes to get a seat which is understandable, not a problem. The problem was when our party of 4 waited for another 30-45 minutes(two other parties came in and were greeted,seated and served before us)for cold food(3 of us did, the fourth person’s didn’t come at the time) from a server who could have cared less. Fourth person finally got their order about the time mine got backed from being “heated up” which only made my 9 pc chicken strips greasier than before. Even worse the butter in my baked potato hadn’t even melted one iota. I addressed my concerns to the alleged manager, I said I didn’t feel I should pay for this disaster and was only half heartedly asked if I wanted something else, which I immediately refused and the manager offered to remove the trash I was given from my bill. I then told the server who could have cared less that I rightfully shouldn’t have to pay for my beverage to which she said she would have to ask manager for permission. It was still on my bill but at that point I was more than ready to leave. As a side note, the couple across from us also received horrible food and service as well as two of our party later getting sick later that evening. Bad experience over all and one I will avoid in the future when thinking about eating at this establishment again. Whoever reads these reviews probably could care less also (notice the copy and paste "we believe you,fellow carnivore......blah blah blah response to bad reviews) Zero stars. Read moreMy friends and I recently ate here to celebrate a birthday, and the service was so personable and amazing! We arrived right in the middle of their dinner rush, and we waited for about 10-15 minutes which is standard and expected for the day and time we planned to eat. Once we were sat, our server, Alivia, came over to greet us. We quickly noticed how busy she was with some other larger parties in her section, so when another team member came by, we asked if she would mind grabbing the drinks Alivia had already rung in for us. This staff member was super helpful and brought them over right away. When Alivia took our food order, she kept up with all our specifications, and the food came out perfectly. Props to the kitchen for how great the steaks and sides we all ordered were cooked. Alivia continued to check in on us and provide exceptional service with how attentive and polite she was. At the end, our friend who was celebrating decided to order dessert, at which point I slyly motioned to Alivia that it was her birthday. Alivia brought over her dessert and let her know it was on the house and personally wished her a happy birthday. We spoke to her for a few minutes to let her know how great she was, and we did speak to a manager before leaving to express some good remarks about our experience all around, but I wanted to make sure I left a review for the amazing staff there.
