Fancy Q Japanese And Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

I've been here a few times and it's been wonderful each time, ESPECIALLY this last time! I ordered the gyoza and was given complimentary soup while it was being prepared, which was very quickly! The gyoza were large, perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. I ordered the Osaka Fancy Sushi Roll and was given a Soft Shell Crab appetizer even though I hadn't finished my gyoza or soup! It was lightly battered and had HUGE pieces of crab in it and a perfect sauce to compliment it: I ate it all! The sushi was delivered quickly and although I was getting full already, I had to try it: it was attractive and looked deeelish! It was soooo good. perfect temperature, precisely rolled, and so fresh that it melted in my mouth! I ate all my delicious food but a few pieces of sushi and had to take it togo so I could enjoy later! The service/staff was friendly, attentive, timely. The restaurant is very clean, soothing contemporary decor, and quiet. It is the best dining experience in all of Central Florida! I have been to many restaurants these past few years and they've all gone downhill and disappoint BUT NOT "Fancy Q Japanese and Thai Restaurant" in Daytona Beach! Love this place! This is by far my favorite sushi place I think I've ever been too. The staff is phenomenal and is polite as ever. From the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave they are happy to see you and treat you extremely well and always have a sincere smile on their face. The atmosphere is fantastic as well and feels very fresh and relaxed. It feels like an expensive restaurant but that's the best part. It's not! At fancy Q I can get more sushi than I know what to do with and it's twice as good as anything else AND less expensive. My girlfriend and I used to go to a place out near the river and would always have a $60 bill or more at the end of the night for just two meals. At Fancy Q we have gotten more and better food for legitimately half the price. And not only is it better than anywhere else in town, it's faster too! We can get in and out in under 45 minutes while at the other place it'll take an hour and a half at the least. Fancy Q is the best for the quality, the price, the time, and your satisfaction. There's no where else in town that my girlfriend and I go for sushi night if it isn't our favorite...

I’ve been here so many times, ate inside a few times but normally I call and pick up my order. However for my birthday we went and sat inside to eat for an early lunch. Everything was beautifully plated, fresh and, prepared with love. The staff is kind, stay on top of drink refills, & have no problems getting me a lot of eel sauce ( I believe it’s made in house, the flavor is the best I’ve ever had). We ordered two lunch hibachi combos both with steak, one with shrimp & the other with scallops, came with fried rice, noodles, veggies, clear soup(forgot to snap a pic of the soup) & a salad with ginger dressing (the salad dressing isn’t my favorite but everything else was FLAWLESS ). We were given a complimentary holiday roll, cooked so well we actually ended up ordering a full one. We got the salmon katsu roll, snow krab roll & King Cobra specialty roll. In addition we also got the Harumaki appetizer which is a delicious spring roll, really good if you like fresh gingery veggies :) 10s across the board. Nowhere else does it better...
