Been going here for at least a decade or more, usually low prices and decent quality fruits and vegetables. they do hold on to items to long and many can spoil prematurely. I've bought many a rotting food, looks good on the outside but spoiled on the inside. Need to look for fresh stock that's when you will find the best items. When they start to deep discount then stop buying and wait for fresh shipments. They do seem to have deals sometimes on the fresh stuff, but usually short shelf life. Good selection and reasonable prices on most things. I usually avoid there butcher area. They can be rude and short. Meats were fresh but they feel off really quick. Quality instantly dropped after the first 6 months of opening area. They do have a fresh bakery, many items over priced and not all that good. Mostly bland and just white flour plain items. There is some variety but I haven't found anything outstanding. They do have spices and sell nuts and some sweets. This is hit or miss too In terms of quality. Some items have been stale. The spices seem to be OK, but they usually work from a large bag or bin with dated spices just due to quantity available and the amount being sold daily. I'm sure some items can sit around for months. Hard to trust Bulk items unless it's popular and sold constantly. Cashiers are nice. Usually quick service but the register are tight and lines can be disorganized and long wait times. Most customers are from the area and there are cultural differences in the way people shop and interact. Some can be really rude and pushy and others assume they are special. The parking lot can be a nightmare at times. Small but again usually rude drivers who park anywhich way. Leaving little room for other to...

Great prices, especially on bargain wednesdays. If you go on Wednesday, be prepared for crowds and police handling traffic.
I personally prefer to shop on other weekdays. Some prices are a few pennies higher, but worth it to avoid the mobs.
As for the quality of the fruits and vegetables, it can vary greatly. You do have to inspect them. But for those of us on a budget the effort is worth it
Also their Teas are usually several dollars less than other stores, especially the AHMAD teas, but the variety of teas can vary greatly and are limited. Buy what you like when you see it.
There is also a large Mexican selection of foodstuffs, as well as middle East . The olives, salads and humus are usually fresh and good.
The bakery is interesting and usually sold out by the afternoon.
I haven't tried the butcher shop yet.
I go here at least once a week and do recommend it, but you do have to pay attention to what...
Read moreThe owner is kind to his customers and his employees, shame his is selling it, I heard Greenland will be buying it, if they do, we are all doomed, their produce doesn’t last as long as Eastborn does., this was my original post before the new owner took over, Abu Hussein was a kind man and his prices where cheap and fruit lasted longer, as for the new owner apparently it’s cheaper on days other than wednesday, see for your self, I went in Monday bought a few things, needed more of those things the next day, then on Wednesday my mom inlaw likes to shop because of the deals, she purchase same as me and I compared the prices of the Romain lettuce made my stomach hurt, $1 more than I got it, $0.75 on Monday and Tuesday, therefore proves my theory that they hike up the prices on Wednesday. People wake up and compare prices, never going back, also I saw he got rid of all the...
