Just popped into Ali's cookies - Emory for the first time and while their main selection looked tempting, I was particularly interested in their vegan offerings. Happy to report they had two distinct choices (Double Chocolateand Chocochip), which is always a welcome sight! Both the cookies were on the hard side, I was expecting a soft cookie but nevertheless the taste was good, not too sweet. It had crisp edges. While the non-vegan selection seemed extensive, I appreciated that they made an effort to cater to plant-based eaters with more than just one token option. Both vegan cookies were well-made. If you're in the area and looking for a vegan treat, give them a try! I'd definitely come back to see if they rotate their vegan selections in the future.

I current work at a bakery and I’m their pastry associate. I can only eat one out of 9 different kinds of cookies. I only tried Ali’s twice and I already found 2 cookies I like and my husband, his little sister and my son found a few cookies they like. This place wins in our cookie book compared to my job. Plus their cookies are cheaper than the cookies at my job and they are the same size. Ali’s also have special deals like 7 cookies for $12. Each cookie is $2 unless it says otherwise. They even have gluten free cookies but really limited. Last time I went, I have to go in 30 minutes before they closed because I was coming from work but they still had a lot of cookies to choose from. One day I will need to try out their ice cream.

Good cookies. Good gluten-free choices. We live a mile or so away. Sometimes, trying to justify our trip, we walk down here. However, typically, I end up driving down here because my wife and kid are hankering for some sweets. It works for me, because they have a gluten-free selection. In particular, I like chocolate brownie gluten-free cookies. The other gluten-free cookies are good but the brownie cookie is particularly moist and chocolatey. My wife loves the red velvet cookie. I walked to Emory village during the snow day and they were the only open store in the strip. It was great to get out of the house for a couple of cookies in a cup of coffee. Yay.

Walked into this establishment for a quick moment couldn’t tell if they were open because the sign was off, but upon walking up to the door it was open. Proceeded in looked around very nice place. Once I was next I wasn’t greeted by the two ladies, they were deeply in their conversation and I had to interrupt them to get my order taken, then finally she’s rushing me to make a decision on my items, speaking about the packaging and still I was in the process of making my selection geez lady relax, she then cuts me off mid selection of my order completely to address the next family behind me about gluten free ingredients as if the other lady wasn’t already taking care of them. Completely in the middle of me picking my cookies, then goes sorry to me. At this point I should have left, but have heard about their cookies so much I wanted to try them. She finally Gets back to my order and tries to be nice once we get to the register, definitely won’t come here again based on that customer service alone, the cookies were good tho, but not so good that it’s worth that treatment. Check the other reviews about their attitude, I see it’s a problem obviously. Won’t be back. And...

Once again, I found myself fining for some cookies! So, I stopped by Ali's Cookies! I picked up 4 cookies! The good thing is they except cash! My favorite cookie that I picked was the oatmeal raisin cookie! They have taken this cookie to the next level by adding nutmeg to it! And if you like myself, grew up cutting your teeth on homemade oatmeal raisin cookies, than you will really appreciate the way the nutmeg lingers on your palette! The next cookie was the double chocolate chocolate chip! It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it wasn't the worst either! The I picked out the Washington cookie! This cookie was a little too crispy for me, but I did like the cherries that are in it! The last cookie I picked was the classic chocolate chip cookie!! I couldn't get pass the slight aftertaste in this cookie until i bit into a chocolate chip! Also It was a bit over cooked, because it was too crispy around the edges! They offer you a free punch card that will give you a free cookie after you purchases your 10th cookie from them! Mmmmm! These are not the best cookies that I've ever had, but they are not the worst...

It was my first time there yesterday and the shop smelled absolutely delicious and the cookies tasted as good as they looked! I love soft cookies. I ended up choosing 2 cookies from 3 different specialties, including the spicy hot chocolate which I highly recommend! But I wish the service had been as welcoming as the cookies. I was taking my time browsing the various cookies and the store in general and when I was approached by the employee I asked her a few questions like what was in the apple pie cookie, but I got the feeling I was an annoyance and she had more important things to do than help a first time customer. She never even smiled back at any point during the encounter. All comments I made were ignored. Questions were answered shortly. I'm pretty sure I would've been better off just being left alone to browse by myself and then making my choices when I was ready. A+ Cookies, C+ Service I really hope that I just came at the wrong time. (10:30 AM is prep time maybe?) Everyone has off days I guess...but it felt personal, like my business wasn't wanted. ...
