Read moreThey hosted a Steak cook off and asked SCA members to part of a raffle and the total amount of money would be split 50/50. At the time of the drawing Melissa said 99. Nobody had 99. Instead of drawing again, like all raffles do, they decided to keep all the money. Many steak cooks stayed at the Homewood suites and this was talked about at the continental breakfast. Everyone agreed it was very tacky and a bit shady. Carnegie should have simply asked for donations and not take the entire pot from a one draw raffle.
