Glenwood park is a great park for walkies for any doggone day of the week.
This dog finds Glenwood park full of features any Fideo would find pupticularlly pawsome and include pools, courts with lots of balls from base to tennis. I can fit upto 3 tennis balls in my muzz.
This dog loves walkies that are shaded, interestating , and Glenwood has lots of trails to explore. abundence of shaded benches along the path to sit along the way. More features along trailals include Bridges, and even a dog park. Did I mention SQUURRELS! ? well squirrels a plenty along the paths here.
The community seems friendly welcoming and will strike up a friendly conversation so bring your friends fuzzy and otherwise for a doggone delightful day...
Read moreGlenlake Park is a nice hidden little gem that you would miss just driving down Church street. I've passed it hundreds of time and just thought there was a pool there, which you can see from the street. What I didn't know, We took our sweet Doberman here to meet up with a couple folks we know. The three dogs had a glorious time. Then we hiked about 20 minutes through nature and around and through the adjacent cemetery to get the grown ups some much needed exercise and social time. Read moreThis was a lovely little park. There’s tennis courts, green space for picnics, a playground area, basketball court area, and more but those are the things we saw.
I will say that it wasn’t obvious that there was a playground area. You need to park your car first and walk a short distance to that part of the park, which from the lot, is covered my trees. I think signs would’ve been helpful. Because if we didn’t finally realize it was in the back, we would’ve left for a different park.
Also, one of the little kids swing was broken. There’s only 4 swings...
