Changing this to 1 star simply because the food is good, but I literally went the next day & service was absolutely awful. Some of their staff needs to get trained on customer service.

I placed an online order using their Toast platform. I was staying in the hotel next door and was then notified after about 20min, the restaurant didn't confirm the order and I needed to call. Mind you, I already paid so I figured I'd just walk next door and see what's going on because it could just simply be an error. Get there and I'm waiting like 10-15min for someone to even greet me. They were all just yapping with this one table and laughing and stuff.

So I was a little annoyed, but a guy finally came over and confirmed my order. I figured they needed some more time so I left my number so they could call me when my food was ready (as prompted by the host). I go back to my hotel and why a dang near hour goes by and I never got a call. So I go back over, hear them laughing and stuff from the outside.

Why are these folks running and laughing around the restaurant while I'm just standing there waiting AGAIN. I attached the video I took. And mind you, I see some food just sitting in the window. Finally the same guy comes over and I'm like just cancel my order and give me a refund, because atp I'm PISSED. I'm already hungry and yall playing with my time and money. So then another guy comes over and he's trying to joke. Wasn't anything funny (I don't play about my money and I damn near spent almost $200 in 2 days there) and I was calmly saying this and to give me my refund.

They were still trying to give me the food. No, thank you. It's been sitting there this whole time and yall are PLAYING! So a lady comes and tries to tell me it's still warm. At this point idgaf, I don't want it. (My ginger ale and hot sauce I paid/asked for was missing too) And I don't want the narrative spun that I was trying to get free food or that they tried to accommodate me like these lying business do. Give me my money. I'm heavy on supporting folks, but this was crazy. So I tell them I was just there and had amazing service the other day and I leave. They try to come over to the hotel and apologize and bring the food and offer me a free meal. Mind you, the kitchen manager throwing his staff under the bus like he wasn't over there keke-ing with them too. I appreciate the gesture, but I am NEVER coming back.

Every time I come to the area I try to hit this place up because I loved the food. My only warning, in the past, was review the bill because they automatically add the tip to the bill and then give you a bill with a line to tip more. My 2024 visit the hostess expressed that they had gone under New Management the menu is completely different ah no more cornbread, one of their famous items. It's a bit pricey. Instead of adding 15% for automatic tip they do 18 % even for to go orders.. I had to get the manager to remove the 18% and then received a lecture as to why I should tip. I fully planned on tipping just not a full 18% The hostess was amazing she was friendly and sweet that's the only experience I have for service the manager well I could have gone without the lecture and the pressure. The food came out so fast that I know that it wasn't prepared fresh, more along the line as warmed up, I assume because the shrimp were very rubbery and the rate of speed in which the meal came out was phenomenal maybe 5 minutes at most. the value is just not there. I had the shrimp linguine Plus tip. A near $50 dinner for something I really feel like I could have gotten at a far lower price and made somewhat fresh. They didn't skimp on the shrimp there was plenty but it was somewhat tasteless and bland, almost as if they boiled it and then added it to some sort of a sauce and linguine for flavor. Linguine very soft and mushy like it had been cooked earlier that day, no bread with it. Definitely not worth $44 My past experience which is numerous was always good and at times a long wait to get a seat, due to being crowded.. I wouldn't necessarily be proud that new management has taken over obviously no visible improvements that I can see and there was nobody in the place so that should say it all. I personally wouldn't go there again I'm heartbroken because the last place...

It is horrible food. Some of the worst in atlanta. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You know it is bad when you take a bite of your entree and a bite of each side and look at your partner and both say nope. You know it is bad food when the server comes by and checks on you after seeing yall havent ate any of your food and when you tell them it is really bad they just look and kinda say yeah and agree with you. Man what a disappointment. The highlight was the fried green tomato and chicken wing apps. Those were wpretty tast but the entrees and sides were really not edible. We ate only a few bites out of the entrees. They just, ufortunately, were not good. Such high hopes and it just wasn't it. You know the food is not going to be good when there is a sign saying if you taste the food you now have to buy it. We should have walked out on that red flag. We gave it a chance and it is something I regret. Management needs to do better. The worse 150 dollars I have spent.

I order salmon croquettes. It was pink salmon can yall with no extra seasoning added but some raw onions. I ate a quarter of one salmon croquette and was gagging. My wife ordered fried ribs with sauce in the side. All fat, tough and chewy but the salt was plentiful. She took two bites

We both had the mac and cheese with was all noodles with a little bit of burnt cheese on top. We both took a bite.

The collards were not horrible but they were not good either.

The fried green tomatoes are delicious.

The chicken wings are good.

The drinks are pretty decent and strong. You'll need it to get though your food.
