Review for Devacut by Leslie Braswell. I am someone with very difficult wavy hair. I’ve let it grow long and it has gotten frizzy and unmanageable. I recently started the “curly girl method” of styling and hair care to maintain and improve my fine curls. I searched a lot of online reviews for a certified devacurl stylist and drove a good 45 minutes to see the owner, Leslie. Mostly based on previous reviews. I knew when i walked in and met her and her gorgeous blonde curls she was the right stylist for my needs. She explained everything, meticulously sectioned my hair and cut each curl section perfectly. She proceeded to wash, condition and style my hair while making every step a teaching moment. All products were sulfate and silicone free, a very important step for me. She spent quite a bit of time with me. And she made the steps simple. This is something I can easily do at home. Really. I learned a lot and got an excellent cut.
