Chipley Park — Attraction in DeFuniak Springs

At Lake Defuniak. It is so beautiful here. I live in Okaloosa County, near Baker, but have been coming to this lake for years. I used to work in Defuniak Springs & I'd drive to this lake and sit here on my lunch break. Christmas Reflections is going on now. Christmas lights all around the lake and the old houses decorated & lit up. It's spectacular! Don't miss it! Beautiful park that is almost reminiscent of a stereotypical park from a movie or novel. You'll see people walking dogs and children out playing. A sidewalk meanders around the entire perimeter of the lake (which I believe was technically formed from an old sinkhole year ago). Paths lead right to historic downtown Defuniak Springs, while picturesque houses line adjacent to the water's edge. There is a visitor center in the old train Depot, as well as a self-guided tour...
