Wish I could give this place 10 stars. My stylist is Emily and I feel like I won the lottery when I found her. I have had some really bad experiences with hair salons and that caused me to turn to at home hair dye/cuts during the pandemic. My stylists in the past have been judgmental and rude and it made the whole “getting my hair done” experience daunting. After a big chop and regrowing my natural hair I decided I needed a bold change that my bathroom sink wasn’t up for. I found Emily by chance by searching salons near me and we clicked immediately. She made me feel so secure even knowing I (poorly) cut and dyed my own hair in the past. Emily is also an absolute miracle worker (disclaimer do not be like me) I will literally walk in with a vague idea of what I want and she pulls it off exactly! I also will flip between dark and light vivids and some how she is not only able to achieve the color change but my hair still feels so healthy afterwards. I literally love coming to her because it feels like I’m hanging out with one of my girlfriends. I followed her to crimson and clover from a different salon and walking into crimson and clover felt like home. The environment is so welcoming and clean but not so bougie that you feel out of place. Everyone is so nice and very cool.they are very reasonably accommodating (meaning they will take care of you but don’t be awful and show up a half hour late come on) they usually have little snack to take and their waiting area is not only comfy but cute as hell. They really make you feel like a queen/king whether you’re getting a cut and wash or a full vivid color correction. This is THE PLACE for any kind of balayage/vivid/ color service . The artists here love getting creative and will pull miracles out of thin air. On top of that, the owner really encourages growth in her stylists and pushes them to get certified in new services that they didn’t offer before. I’ve been coming to this salon for about 7 months and this whole place feels like family to me. I normally go in for Vivid maintenance which runs me about 175 ish plus tip or a color correction which is normally 350 ish plus tip.Their pricing is very reasonable as well and the products they use are really high...

I want to start my review by saying that this negative review is by no means a reflection of the work my hair/makeup artist did, but a review of the business itself and the owner.

I was scheduled for two separate artist to come do my hair and makeup for my wedding. I paid for trials with each girl and approved their work.

Two days before my wedding I get an email stating that my makeup artist was being pulled to cover another wedding due to one of their other artists having a "family emergency" and that the hair dresser was going to do my makeup. Because this wedding party was bigger than mine I guess they prioritized them. I was concerned because there was no time for another trial or for me to book someone else. I had no idea what my makeup would turn out like on my wedding day and I was not happy.

I asked the owner for a refund on my makeup trial since it was basically pointless to do since that artist wasn't doing my makeup and she refused stating she "legally" could not refund my trial and then told me she didn't "need my negative energy".

She ended up refunding the travel fee which did not equate to the money spent on the trial but at least was something.

Just beware if you are booking a wedding that you may be dealing with inexperienced business owners who don't prepare for "emergencies" and don't know customer service.

My wedding-day experience with Rachel and Madi was an 11/10. Rachel wowed me even before the wedding day, beginning with my bridal hair and makeup trial. She really took her time - not once did I feel rushed. She also communicated every step of the way to ensure she was accomplishing my desired look and requested feedback in such an open and friendly way that I never felt nervous requesting a tweak here or there. On the actual wedding day, Rachel and Madi arrived a couple minutes earlier than our start-time, so they were able to set up and get started by 7:30 AM on the dot. This really set the tone for the day, demonstrating Rachel and Madi’s professionalism and dedication to their craft. They were both so pleasant to chat with and created such a fun, laid-back atmosphere that the whole process felt like getting ready with your best friends before a big night out.
